Arizona Senator Jon Kyl has confirmed, Arizona is, in fact, on the border with Mexico. Kyl sent Milwaukee County Supervisor Peggy West a letter in which he says, "You will be interested to learn that Arizona does indeed share a border with Mexico. I have enclosed a map for your convenience." Kyl goes on to urge West to, "actually read the Arizona law before forming an opinion about it." West appeared confused about Arizona's location during debate about a measure that would have had the county boycott the state over its controversial new immigration law. She said, "If this was Texas, which is a state that is directly on the border with Mexico, and they were calling for a measure like this saying that they had a major issue with undocumented people flooding their borders, I would have to look twice at this. But this is a state that is a ways removed from the border." RELATED CONTENT: Senator Kyl's Letter West did continue to talk about troops on Arizona's border. She later explained that she meant to say Texas had a longer border. "Had Texas come out with the legislation, having the largest border, I think that I would be more receptive to the fact that there was a problem. But having it be Arizona, having it be the second largest boarder and knowing there are troops on the border in Arizona, it didn't seem to me that this legislation was particularly necessary at this moment in time," West told Newsradio 620 WTMJ. The county sent the measure back to a committee.

I heard her voice on the radio, and she sounds like a dumb 15-year-old who must have been writing notes to her boyfriend instead of paying attention during geography class.
LOL. What geography class?

Had Senator Kyl sent the message written in icing on a cake, the sow would have possibly read it, assuming the cake was large enough to allow big enough letters for her small beady eyes and little mind to comprehend.

Everybody on FR should send her a map, with the border highlighted in yellow.

That is NOT the state of West Peggy. As any Messican can tell you, it a county in the state of Azitlan.

Big deal...they're trying to use the fact that she is from Milwaukee as an excuse for her stupidity.
I'm from Georgia, never been to Arizona, but I did take Geography in school...and I know Arizona is a border state.
I should think that if I had applied for the position as County Supervisor in Arizona - or any state - I would make it my business to know the geography and some of the history of the state.
I hope whomever hired her, seriously rethinks their decision.

Her constituents hired her, ie elected. And I doubt they could read a map either or formulate an opinion without it being given to them.

Is he upset because;
1. People call her fat, ugly and stuuppid,
2. She is fat, ugly and stuuppid
3. Or he has to face the fact he is married to fat, ugly and stuuppid.

Actually, closer to “I can’t see Mexico from my border,” therefore the problem does not exist.

I am not so sure Democrats can read maps, or the writen word for that matter.
Billy Crystal (in City Slickers), why are you telling me we're going north ? Is it because we're going up ?
To: Right Cal Gal
Unless the favored minority are given 5 votes to each 1 given to whitey. There was a recent local election in Westchester County NY where this occurred. Port Jarvis (sp?) NY I think. Scary. The whole country will look like Detroit in 20 years, Haiti in 40 then Zimbabwe in 60.

No doubt she'd been well served to have broadened her education by attending at least 3 more colleges or universities.
These Democrats are so dull ~ they think you go to one, you've seen 'em all.
