Joe did take him to task on one of his idiotic statements. When asked about the history of the Afghan war, Zbig Jerk said (paraphrasing) that --although this might sound partisan, but it isn't--the first 8 years of the policy was terrible (under Bush), and only got better under Obummer---

Joe said, excuse me, Mika's daddy, but the first few years of Bush in the Afghan war were great, and only then did he lose focus when he went into Iraq. Zbig backtracked fast.
