The Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office confirmed today that a woman who alleged unwanted sexual contact by Al Gore reported it to police in 2006, and the prosecutor’s office was briefed by the Portland Police Bureau in late 2006 and January 2007.

“We were told the woman was not willing to be interviewed by the Portland Police Bureau and did not want a criminal investigation to proceed,’’ Multnomah County District Attorney Michael Schrunk said, in a prepared statement.

Today, as the National Enquirer reported that it had interviewed a Portland masseuse who complained of unwanted sexual contact by the former vice president at the Hotel Lucia on Oct. 24, 2006, the district attorney’s office was notified that the Portland Police Bureau had conducted a further investigation of the allegation in 2009....

In 2007 or 2008, then Portland Tribune reporter Nick Budnick made a public records request for the Portland police report, obtained it but the newspaper did not run a story.........Hmmm!

DU should be interesting tonight. I’m sure the DUmmies will say this has absolutely nothing to do with the Gores divorce.

Or, perhaps, she received a tidy little amount of hush money to tide her through the next couple of years.

"unwanted sexual contact by the former vice president at the Hotel Lucia on Oct. 24, 2006

In June 2010, the woman called police, asked for a copy of her statement, and asked if she could edit it. She also advised the bureau she was going to take the case to the media.

Statute of limitations for third-degree sex abuse, which is the classification Portland police gave to the complaint in 2006 and 2007, is four years after the commission of the crime."

The statute of limitations runs out in October and the National Enquirer strikes again.

I'm really confused .... and interested in this.

Is Algore going to blame this on CO2, Manbearpig, or his growing carbohydrate footprint?

Are these complaints by women of Algore’s sexual advances just cover to draw attention away from rumors of his homosexuality?

Are Mat Stone and Trey Parker putting him up to this so that they'll have more material for a sequel to Manbearpig?

The tension of all these unresolved questions is killing me.

Maybe the MSM would have covered it more closely if Gore played lacrosse for Duke? Just a thought.

Well, the comments are such that they question the tabloid National Enquirer, forgetting the Edwards story.

It will not be long before we hear that ALGore misunderstood exactly what carbon credits could be traded for.

Or, that he had been told that Portland had no controlling legal authority.

Mr. Stone aka Al Gore! Didn’t know he had any stones. Maybe sitting in the slammer would reduce his “carbon footprint”. No, I remember now that there is no such thing. Al Gore made it up, just like “Mr.Stone”.

Al Gore is of course one of the dumbest and most dysfunctional people to have ever lived, but I find it hard to believe he would force himself sexually on a young woman. A young boy, of course. But a woman? Doubt it.

She has a chocolate bar from the incident locked in a safe deposit box. The 70+ page police interview is very detailed. People who know algore will be able to recognize or refute his mannerisms and behavior. Some of her editorial comments are rather witty.

"his Mr. Smiley global warming persona."

"I live in 'the Birkenstock Tribe' and it's like being the ultimate traitor."

"I just said, How, just how long were you whacked out after the election?"

"the way he came across to me was like a scary, without a conscience, spoiled out of control fraternity-boy-at-a-kegger type of person with a perverse sense of entitlement, a rich kid who is used to getting what he wants and whatever, including hookers, from women fawning over him, and that he was used to money or power bailing him out of trouble."

Portland Tribune? Never heard of it. The big newspaper in Portland is The Oregonian.
