Via the Oregonian, here is the police report stemming from a 2006 sex crime allegation against Al Gore. Police, for reasons not made public, investigated the case further last year. The National Enquirer reported on the accusation Wednesday.

How did it not get prosecuted? If I’m reading right, she knew it was Gore, got a lawyer who tried to get bigger agencies to investigate.
None would (curious, is there something wrong with her credibility) so she asked the Portland police for an interview.
They postponed the interview on Dec. 21 and then canceled it on Dec. 26, saying they would handle it civilly.
What that says to me? Hush money. I’m thinkin’ those carbon credits the Prius drivers bought ended up being paid to shut this woman up.
He uses the alias “Mr. Stone”. I don’t know why I find this so funny except for the fact that I am a visual learner!
A couple of interesting points in the police report.
Someone tried to get the Secret Service, the FBI or the State Police involved, and none of those agencies would touch the case. The identity of the person who tried to do so is redacted. Was that the local police force trying to kick the case upstairs, or was it a representative of the alleged victim trying to get a bigger dog on the case?
The intervew by police with the alleged victim apparently was repeatedly postponed and finally cancelled because she had decided to handle it “civilly” which probably means she would have settled for a compensation payment from Algore.
If the criminal matter came back to life last year, perhaps the civil settlement negotiations fell through.

But under stress the lack of character showed. When he ate Joe Lieberman's pie in the 33 days from hell after Joe took a bite, I knew he was "Skivose" and "Potsaria" as they would say in the old dialect...
This man was almost President too. I shudder to think where we would be now if he was.
