They can damn well celebrate it without me (not like that’s going to affect the company, but so what). Closing my account and not going back. Menards is much closer and Lowes has a better selection.
Another reason I NEVER enter a Home Depot. I went to Lowes last night to get some drywall tape and a bag of mud plus a few other things. Came to around $48.00. The clerk looked at my “Vietnam Veteran” hat and asked if I was retired military. Told her yes, and without looking at an ID she gave me the 10% discount. Not the first time this has happened at this store.
I just sent my note to Home Depot and clipped my charge card. Cheers!

LOL I just looked at my about page too...I need to update it. A LOT! The only picture that is accurate is the last one. The puppy will be 6 months old tomorrow. The first puppy pictured is 3 years old and weighs 60 lbs more than he did in that pic, the “baby” is 2 years old now, and our Princess, is still a princess, but not so little.
Bella is still the same, but she would demand new and improved pictures of herself if I update dog pictures. She doesn’t like dogs. Rummy is terrified of her (he does tail-tucked, submissive rolls at the sight of her), Teddy thinks she is a play toy, and always seems to think “this time it will be different! She won’t try to kill me! She will love me!” It never happens that way. :P

I do not think I want to tell mine I found my wife of over 28 years in the bar at the NCO Club. I had just returned from an Alert where I had almost been killed and went out to celebrate and found my wife instead (I didn't get drunk either).

To have grandchildren, you have to let your kids live. That can be tough at times.

LOL I am years away from teenagers. Thanks for the advice. :) I am pretty sure that our daughter will be a great teen...it’s my son that I worry about...but maybe that’s just because he’s two. He’s been a much more difficult two-year old than his big sis though.
