I don't like identity politics as much as the next guy, but this is really tremendous news; Historic, in so many ways. I suspect he'll coast to election in the fall.

I’ve met Tim Scott several times over the years. He served on CHarleston County Council with my former next door neighbor, and he is truly a great guy. Even Jim DeMint sings his praises regarding his disdain for earmarks. He will be a great Congressman.
