Time author on CNN stated a WH source told him that McChrystal has submitted his resignation, but Obama has not yet accepted it.
Everyone that is EXCEPT Obama.

With Obama's statement on McChrystal, it's obvious Obama is attempting to make an example of McChrystal — IF you speak out against Obama, there WILL be consequences. That's why McChrystal must be supported while he's being bullied by Obama for speaking out, or others who follow McChrystal will be too intimidated to speak out against Obama's dangerous policies. |

In this picture, it looks like Obama is lecturing him, not even giving him the benefit of even looking him in the eye.
And it looks like the General would like to punch him square in the face.

The general knew exactly what he was getting into. He complained about the strategy once before and was given a talking too. He should have resigned then and there because he had to know that Obama was going to turn this war into a political exercise (months of study, not quite enough troop, a pull out deadline, absurd rules of engagement. Any astute officer would have refused to accept those conditions, H caved and decided to play the game.
Everything after that day is sour grapes.
