What caused Culver to lose popularity in liberal IA?
Things are bad and he and his party are in charge.
Iowa is not liberal as much as it is a swing state. Chester Culver won in 2006 because of his famous name(his father was Senator) and because it was a Democrat year. The economy has declined since and there has been constant scandal in the Culver administration.
