The Justice Department is preparing to sue Arizona over its new immigration law. The president has stiffed Gov. Jan Brewer's call for meaningful assistance in efforts to secure the border. And the White House has accused Arizona's junior senator, Republican Jon Kyl, of lying about an Oval Office discussion with the president over comprehensive immigration reform. Put them all together, and you have an ugly state of affairs that's getting uglier by the day.
First, the lawsuit. Last week, Brewer was appalled to learn the Justice Department's intentions not from the Justice Department but from an interview done by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton with an Ecuadorian TV outlet. "It would seem to me that if they were going to file suit against us," Brewer told Fox News' Greta van Susteren last week, "they definitely would have contacted us first and informed us before they informed citizens ... of another nation."
But they didn't.

Kyl strikes back, very effectively:
"Kyl is not backing down. "What I said occurred, did occur," he told an Arizona radio station. "Some spokesman down at the White House said no, that isn't what happened at all, and then proceeded to say we need comprehensive immigration reform to secure the border. That is their position, and all I was doing was explaining why, from a conversation with the president, why it appears that that's their position."
Arizona should refuse to answer the Feds in Court and IGNORE any edicts from the idiot-in-chief, Holder, or any Federal Court on this subject.
As many other states as possible should do so also, and they should adopt nullification statutes directed at any effort by this administration or any other to legitimize the theft of America by an invading army of illegal aliens.
The federal government is not protecting us..Therefore, we are going to see more states begin to take care of themselves..They have a choice..Protect themselves and their people or perish through the false belief that the federal government is doing the job. Arizona is showing the courage toward this self reliance and the other states should rise up to support them..We, as individuals who live in other places should support them.
We have to keep all those Libertarians in drugs. /sarcasm

And somebody posted yesterday that Missouri has almost the exact same laws on its books — including the “show you papers” item that libs are up in arms about. Why isn’t that getting more press? Don’t answer that question.
They probably don’t know. They’re unable to READ this current Arizona law, what makes you think they know anything about the Missouri law? There’s a limit to what their little brains can handle. Heck..they even ignore the Federal Law regarding this.
Did anyone hear what Charles Krauhammer said the other night on FOX. He not only thinks Obama SHOULD sue but actually wants him too. Here is WHY?
Obama has no case, and Arizona has not broken any Federal Law, rather they as a State are simply upholding a Federal Law that the Feds refuse to. So what happens is Obama loses.
Instantly, 100’s if not 1,000’s of similar law suits from every State would spring up demanding More CONTROL and LESS Fed intervention.
Personally, I see this happening already. Obama loses if he does nothing just as clearly as if he loses the caught case. Even if he wins the caught case, he HAS to then act and be seen to be up holding the law of the Land.
In a word, he is SCREWED

After 9/11 the dims and their media were all upset that 9/11 didn’t happen under clinton. I thought that was just weird. Why would that matter? Then when I heard rahm speaking about not letting a crisis go to waste, it made sense. The dim party has been hijacked by marxist loving maniacal control freaks. The two dim candidates in ‘08 were both alinsky followers. When it got close to obama winning, I started hunkering down. Call it prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Since he was installed in office, he has done everything to weaken our country in every aspect. Why would the government do that? It seems that they are setting the table for either an internal fight or some kind of chaos, or leaving us exposed for another terrorist attack. Given a chaotic situation, they would be able to do things that they normally could not do. Look at their reaction to the Deepwater Horizon. They intentionally let the oil get to the shorelines in order to shut down all drilling in the gulf. “never waste a crisis”.
What’s spooky is that he is flashing weakness to the muslims. They haven’t gone away. What would this govt do to us if we are attacked again? ozero was quoted as saying that he laments that the Constitution limits what the government can do to the American people.
These people have put us all in serious danger. I cannot stress that enough. When you look at the big picture, we are in a very dangerous place.
