Some 500 anti-Israel protestors arrived at the Oakland, California port early Sunday morning, hoping to block an Israeli ship from unloading its cargo. However, the ship did not arrive, and the crowd prevented workers from unloading a Chinese ship instead.
The protestors say they were protesting the recent Israel-Turkey flotilla incident, though they displayed great ignorance about what actually happened; one of them even compared barely armed Israeli Defense Forces troops with Somali pirates.
“My grandmother's Jewish. I'm not anti-Semitic," protestor Frank McClain told a local Oakland newspaper. "But what Israel's doing is murdering people. They staged a raid in international waters. If Somalis had done that, they'd be called pirates and we'd have punished and stopped them immediately.”

If I am the head of that port or it’s security guy...
I would arrest all 500. Any longshoreman who “signed-in” a protestor would be have his TSA security credentials revoked (fired without the union hassles).
These people are mindless sheep. They are attracted to “causes” because it gives them a feeling of being proactive, even if they haven’t thought through why they’re doing what they’re doing.

First of all, this blockade has been in place for over 3 years. It is a legitimate method of preventing your enemies from getting supplies that can be used against you or our country.
Second, many reposrts are floating around that indicate there were absolutely NO AID SUPPLIES on the ship that was boarded.

The ‘aid helpers’ attacked Israeli defence forces with pipes & other hand weapons & beat them.
WHY?
Because they were being boarded for trying to run a blockade!!!
The video shows people on the ship doing such weilding of lengths of pipe or possibley rebar. Seemns they had more of such items aboard than anything resembling ‘AID’.
This was a staged event, all right.
