Everybody knew when the DemocRats passed Mengelecare that it would result in rationing.
Well, in Connecticut the lines for OB/GYN doctors just got a tiny bit longer.
Congratulations, America, on your "historic" election.

My cardiologist told me months ago he will probably quit when Death Care takes effect. He ought to sell his practice now while he might still get a good price.
If he waits till Obama care take effect he may get no offers at all.

>> it decided it could no longer meet the financial demands of running the practice.
Probably a combination of a bad economy and little hope for future opportunity in light of Commie-Care.

my adult dtr has Aspergers and a neurologic disorder and is on Medicaid....she needs botox from a neurologist I know...it’s very expensive....she’s covered by Medicaid and so far so good....but I don’t think the doctor gets paid much for his services....I cringe thinking of having to find another dr. for my dtr....the botox consists of many needles connected to an emg machine and there is a skill and and an art in hitting the right spots...

Obastard is so stupid that he thinks that people will continue to work like dogs so that the majority of the population can sit on their asses and collect welfare and food stamps.

My OB/GYN left her practice in January; she was losing money. She will no longer practice that. She went to work for a big local medical facility. It is going to start happening more and more. Since she recommended my primary doc, I told him she left her practice and he just said she was the third doc he had heard of in about 3 months who had done the same. Just wait.

It’s about time to start thowing old vegetables at these politicians when they show up in public. Next, we throw minerals and finally metals...something in the lead family might work.

“Atlas shrugs, yeah sure. Those MDs were likely Zero voters.”
Not this MD. Sure, there are those who did, but don't extrapolate from what you heard from the AMA and some academic docs etc. They do not represent most physicians.

I argued with my hippie brother about compensation for Doctors. His attitude was disgusting. If the Doctor is older and has repaid his Medical School loans, his mortgage and his kids higher education, why shouldn't he take a cut in pay? I couldn't believe it!! This is a brother who never felt he was adequately compensated for being a carpenter. It's the Leftist’s mindset. THEY deserve anything and everything that anyone else has, otherwise life isn't fair. Unbelievable!

What isn’t mentioned - malpractice insurance continues to skyrocket - most evident in the OB field. And those costs don’t go down when insurance and government health care payments drop...

I can sympathize with his plight. He might as well get out while the gettin is still fairly good.
Yeah, times are tough all over....
So how is he ever going to survive if he's not raking in over $400K a year anymore?

It has begun in earnest. Maybe the price we must pay as a society for the ighnorance of many is the “producers” just stopping producing. It won’t be nice, but there is hope in change. I hope all you nobama voters out have a great time in the struggle. Most nobama voters are ignorant and stupid, so you’re going to need all the luck you can muster. Losers.

It is pretty obvious.
If you want your doctor to stay in business you better start paying him some cash and not just force him to go through your insurance company, particularly if you are on government care.

Wonder how much malpractice insurance had to do with the decision to close.

The plan is to drive doctors out of business, then sue them for going out of business.
Mark my words.
