E-mail from Barrett’s advisor (and co-chair): Is Nikki Haley lying about her faith?
Hot Air ^ | 6-19-10 | Hot Air Staff

Posted on 06/19/2010 8:34:15 AM PDT by TitansAFC

Pickens County GOP Chair Phillip Bowers — a co-chairman of the rival Gresham Barrett campaign — says that Haley, a Christian who was born to Sikh immigrants, “can’t seem to make up her mind about her faith.”…

“It’s not my place to question her faith, but I do question her honesty,” the county party chairman writes. “If anyone finds the truth, please let me know.”

“Again, I’m not questioning her faith,” he repeats, “but I absolutely can’t stand a liar.”

So Nikki Haley does not throw her parents and her heritage under the bus even though she is now a Christian and that is somehow now not Christian according to GreedSham BareRat. I always thought that SLANDER was a very un-Christ-like thing to do Especially Falsely accusing someone of adultery and quickly Believing an Accusation against someone of faith.

Huh? Huckabee is from Arkansas. Huckabee lost the 2008 South Carolina GOP Presidential primary to McCain.

A lot of idiots in SC think Huckabee is God with his populist message.

I just want to note that I think the SCGOP knows it’s going to lose to Nikki no matter what they say. This attack is meaningless NOW. However they are making it clear to others that if they go against the SCGOP, they will pay and no dirt is too dirty. It’s the same kind of thuggery Chicago pols use only with a small town flavor. Also, someday Niki will stumble. She’s human. We can expect that on that day, this impression that they’ve made, i.e. “Nikki’s not one of us”, will be used against her.

Hey Barrett, maybe if you would describe to us how you plan to fight the odumbo-pelousy agenda rather than question the Faith-life of your opponent, maybe then you would have a chance.

A lot of one dimensional idiots in SC will vote for a politician based on the He's a good Christian Man argument.

WHat is wrong with the GOP in South Carolina?

The good 'ole boys do NOT want Haley in the Governor's mansion. It wouldn't surprise me if they further try to sabotage her campaign after she dispatches with Barrett on Tuesday.

So what do I do politically? Well, for one I am the Tea Party Leader. I also run the web page for Bluffton Tea Patriots and when I'm not doing those things I run The Patriot's Flag a conservative blog hopefully EDUCATING libs and left-tilted republicans. I'm also a poll worker and was MC for the Tea Party Rally in Bluffton SC.

How about you? What do you do to contribute to the Conservative cause?

“Do you contribute to Lindsey Graham ?”

LOLOLOLOLOL....Are you kidding?....NO WAY!
No sane conservative Republican gives money to the RNC....They donate to individual candidates only.........

Why do you assume because I suggested that you fight for the soul of the Republican party from within that I am a suporter of moderate/left leaning Republicans?...... And aren’t you getting tired of yelling “RINO” to describe anything and everything, when you no longer have a cogent arguement? Hint: It’s lost its impact and meaning because of overuse.

Yes, you’ve made your choice and can no longer participate in Republican primary elections where the real battles take place. You have no vote, and in a sense have deserted conservative Republcans in the heat of battle. Singlehandedly you’ve ceded the party to the moderates. Thanks for your support/s

The primaries are where Conservative Republicans have the opportunity to nominate and promote Conservatives and push them to the General election....course you can never be there as you are no longer a registered Republican, and seem to prefer spending your time on the sidelines whinning, and calling everyone that passes a RINO.

No siree, your voice will never be heard, except to cry about how the Republicans, in the General Election are a bunch of RINO’s, and you’ll be forced by your conscience to vote for some 3 party, no chance loser. To me it seems that you’ve cut your nose off to spite your face.....

Have a nice life in the Hobbit Hole.....

This is what happens in a Red State sometimes. The Dems who want power have to pretend to be Republicans.

While I'm against a national third party, sometimes I think that locally and statewide Tea Party candidates, at least a few here and there, might shake up the complacency of the RINOs.

I’ve about had it with Barett bashing Haley.....He should have pulled out right after the first Primary..but stayed in for ego....I hope she gets an overwhelming vote this coming Tuesday and completely embaresses him and the “good ole’ boys”....I would love to see a solid 80% Haley win...that would send a message!!

Thanks for your support/s You don't have to be a "member" of a Party to vote in a primary in SC ... you walk up, hand them your driver's license, and decide if you are going to the Republican or Democrat Booth. I chose the Republican booth for some strange reason! :-) So you see, I not only had a choice, I got to help Nikki Haley beat that darned Andre Bauer! Trust me, I DO know what I'm doing. Oh yeah, my "voice" is being heard.

OK Thats good! Most states are not like that....and re-registering as an indy takes you out of the primaries....which is not good at all!

Right, and all those despicable GOP insiders who made up those fake rumors about her so-called infidelity and one night stand hook-ups are just oh-so-”Christian” themselves. *rolleyes*

It’s one thing to be a “RINO” ...it’s another to be a “CINO” (Christian In Name Only) —> the latter is far, far worse both temporally speaking and eternally speaking.

“...and we’re having a pretty good year so far.”

You bet we are! (You Betcha!) Think of how much better it’d be if those that left the Republican Party had stayed in to wrest the reins from the Moderates? We might now be enjoying Conservative Leadership of the RNC, with financial support of many more Conservatives......

2010 should be a clarion call to all those former Republicans to return home and fighty for not only the party, but our Nation as well.....
