Yes, you’ve made your choice and can no longer participate in Republican primary elections where the real battles take place. You have no vote, and in a sense have deserted conservative Republcans in the heat of battle. Singlehandedly you’ve ceded the party to the moderates. Thanks for your support/s You don't have to be a "member" of a Party to vote in a primary in SC ... you walk up, hand them your driver's license, and decide if you are going to the Republican or Democrat Booth. I chose the Republican booth for some strange reason! :-) So you see, I not only had a choice, I got to help Nikki Haley beat that darned Andre Bauer! Trust me, I DO know what I'm doing. Oh yeah, my "voice" is being heard.

OK Thats good! Most states are not like that....and re-registering as an indy takes you out of the primaries....which is not good at all!
