Another open seat House race where the Republican leads at least on a generic ballot:
Republicans have an excellent chance to win [Washington state's] 3rd Congressional District race this year and state Rep. Jaime Herrera would command a big lead in the Republican primary contest if it were held today, but a sizeable segment of voters remain undecided two months before the Aug. 17 primary election, according to a new poll.
The survey by Moore Information, an Oregon polling firm, sampled 300 likely voters in the 3rd District by phone on June 13 and 14.
In response to the question, If the election for U.S. Congress were held today, would you be voting for the Republican candidate or Democratic candidate? 42 percent said they would vote Republican, 35 percent said they would vote Democratic, 3 percent said neither and 20 percent were undecided.

I was thinking of contributing to her campaign since I am in Norm Dick’s district and contributing against him would be a waste of money.
Have heard her speak...she’s a keeper!
So many people are so pissed off at the regime that the repudiation of the Hussein/Pelosi/Reid disaster in November is going to be MASSIVE.
Personally, I wish we still had a tar and feathering tradition in this country.

Ropes. From the Tree of Liberty.
(But it's dead now thanks to a lack of defenders, so what's the use? America -- a great idea, didn't last.)
Great news. I hope that Washington state Republicans can clean up like they did in 1994.
I just noticed that 2000 nominee John Koster is running against Rick Larsen again in CD 2, Palin is backing him. I’d be nice if that challenge went somewhere.
Larsen’s CD was competitive in the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections, and Koster could benefit from Rossi’s coattails (I would be willing to wager that Rossi will carry the district).
