Why is everyone supporting Barton? Really, he apologized. yes, he was told to but he still apologized. A real man would have said no way and stuck to his principles. That is what Im talking about. He is as wrong for apologizing as Boehner is for asking him too. Sorry.

I was able to reach his office today to support him.I called our congressman and senator, as well as Boehner and Cantor and another congressman on his behalf.

If Barton doesn’t have the sack to stand by his own words, he’ll get no support from me.
“Man up” is the phrase I believe.

lol. I just got off the phone with Boehners office. The gentlemen believed fully Barton’s apology was the correct thing to do. He said Barton should not have apologized to BP. WTF? These folks are stupid and completely out of touch. Everyone that is up for reelection must be voted out. EVERYONE. This crop is crap.
Obama needs to be impeached, tried for treason and sent to Gitmo to rot with his muslim buddies.

This is sad. The truth was told. But, the the “truth teller” came under pressure to recant, and wimped out and did so due to threats to lose his personal position. This is craven cowardice of the first order by Rep. Joe. He knows the truth, he spoke the truth; and then, he was so weak and cowed that he denied the truth. We are so screwed in this country.

I got told Barton retracted on his own. I believe that as much as I believe in the tooth fairy.

The only apology needed here is from Republicans who didn't back Barton---the only person to call the shakedown what it was.
