President Obama has a solution to the Gulf oil spill: $7-a-gallon gas.
That's a Harvard University study's estimate of the per-gallon price of the president's global-warming agenda. And Obama made clear this week that this agenda is a part of his plan for addressing the Gulf mess.
So what does global-warming legislation have to do with the oil spill?
Good question, because such measures wouldn't do a thing to clean up the oil or fix the problems that led to the leak.
The answer can be found in Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel's now-famous words, "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste -- and what I mean by that is it's an opportunity to do things that you think you could not do before."

**stards! The sheer arrogance on the same day Obama has a new low, 41% approval...meaning 41% of Americans have an IQ of 8. Where are the RINOs who will vote for Cap and Tax, that's what is coming to a theatre near you.

I hedged by buying a Mini Cooper two weeks ago. Amazing gas mileage compared to my 400HP GTO.

The EUROPHILES will say — BIG DEAL -— they’ve been paying this prize at the pump in the old world for years. We’re just catching up.

TRUMP: Oil is the lifeblood. Oil it’s no different than the blood that pumps through your body, Neil. Oil is the blood. The blood was sucked out of us by people that are making more money than anybody has ever made in the history of the world, literally, and that is literally and figuratively.

I used to have a ‘66 GTO, and I sometimes managed to get 20+ MPG on the highway.
I also managed to get 10 MPG on the highway, too, if I was really getting after it.

A lot of family farms will fold as will many small ranches (even large ranches will feel the squeeze).

I believe it is possible to make a vehicle that generates it’s own engergy. No fuel no plugging into the outlet.

If he wants a complete and total revolution in this country, go for the $7.00/gallon gas. People in this country aren’t stupid. They know it will be a rip off by the government. Just because Europe is will to pay that price doesn’t mean we are.

YEah, see, the other half of the Euro argument that never gets mentioned, is that their pissant little countries all have public transportation that people can get around on. We don’t. Without cars, we wouldn’t be able to work.

How can he compete with Carter if he lacks the mile long gas lines? Admittedly he’s been doing a great job at stealing the title of worst President ever from Carter but the gas lines are a symbolic ode to him.
