But did he upset “the little” people?
Hussein fired the CEO
Well, maybe Dudley can do right....................
I think this is a good move. I saw Dudley on FNS - he inspires a lot of confidence that BP can manage this crisis.
Hayward seems like a spoiled crybaby and well, the CEO has a propensity to offend the “small people”.
It is clear that Tony has said some things that have upset people, me being one of those people. However, for some reason that I cannot explain, I found myself feeling strangely sorry for him as he sat before congress the other day. I don’t know what it was, but it seemed to me that our side came off wrong.
To be honest, it struck me as the sort of thing that could damage very old friendships. Am I off base on this? It just seemed kind of unseemly and needlessly disrespectful somehow.
How dare you show your insolence towards the great and powerful Lord Waxman! Off with his head!
God Bless Tony, finally free from the crude, crass, horrible behavior from our government. I am completely ashamed of our federal government. I truly hope that BP screws the hell out of United States, it is not worthy nor deserving of any mercy over this situation. Let those bas*ar*s in Washington take over the spill, just say “no more” and go. Forfeit your American assets and go thrive with the other oil companies outside of this fascist nation.
It wasn’t Tony that made that remark.
Now, I know that BP screwed up on this well, but after what I have seen of Obama’s arrogant incompetence, childish tantrums, miss steps, inaction, bald-faced lies and complete lack of leadership, as well as the grandstanding senators doing their best to destroy Tony, I am on BP’s side on this.
BP caused this horrible event, but Obama’s administration has cause the effects of the spill to increase at least a hundred fold.
Obama and his minions have been more interested in cleaning up his worthless reputation than cleaning up the ficking oil. The Gulf didn’t need political theater....... it needed immediate, focussed and intelligent action from a true leader.... NOT a damn politician/union boss.
I would now have trouble getting upset with BP if they simply packed up and moved on. Frankly, my crystal ball says that Oil Companies will be pulling out of our country before Obama and his libs can break their backs. Are these companies simply waiting for November?
Shakedown continues.
