I think this is a good move. I saw Dudley on FNS - he inspires a lot of confidence that BP can manage this crisis.
Hayward seems like a spoiled crybaby and well, the CEO has a propensity to offend the “small people”.
Hayward is not the one who made the ‘small’ people comment.
Hayward handled himself with a lot more dignity than the jackass senators did yesterday.
Hard to tell the difference between the dem sinaters and the code pinko crowd.
That was the chairman that made the “small people” comment - not the ceo.
Boy, are you a horrible judge of character...btw, Mr. Hayward never referred to “small people” and perhaps you should consider that the person who did is not from this country and that his term was not meant in any way as an insult. It is just with the nazi like American politicians and their peasant class that twist that remark into something other than what it was. Shame on you for supporting that kind of trash.
I think you underestimate executives.
Nothing is as it appears, everything is lawyer tested.
BP knows Obama wants to bankrupt them and that if they escape the initial attempt they still have 30 years of lawsuits.
You don’t get to these positions at BP or ANY huge corporation by not knowing exactly how politicians play the game and when you hold and when you fold and when you bluff.
Somehow you forget that it was the CEO, not Hayward, that said that and even MORE IMPORTANTLY, he was responding to an accusation that BP is not concerned about the “small people”.
So WHO in the Obama administration told BP they don’t care about the “small people”....???
HMMMMMMMMM?
