Daily Presidential Tracking Poll (58-41 disapprove!)
Rasmussen Reports ^ | June 18, 2010 | Scott Rasmussen

Posted on 06/18/2010 6:32:01 AM PDT by Scanian

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 25% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-six percent (46%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -21 (see trends).

These results are based upon nightly telephone interviews and reported on a three-day rolling average basis. As a result, more than two-thirds of the interviews for today’s update were conducted after the president’s speech to the nation. Tomorrow’s update will be the first based entirely upon interviews conducted after the speech.

The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Updates are also available on Twitter and Facebook.

Overall, 41% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance. That’s the lowest level of approval yet recorded for this president. Fifty-eight percent (58%) now disapprove.

Oprah gave them her personal assurance yesterday: “He’s doing the best he can.”

We know.

We have to keep in mind that Ras polls are about 7-10 points lower than other polls, so Dems will just point out those polls.

Ras really has to get to 36 or so for there to be a real drop in the other polls unfortunately.

It appears he uses likely voters, while the others use registered voters or just all voters (such as ABC News/Wash Post, which uses all voters despite using Registered voters in late 2009....could have been because it was an election cycle then and not now for the presidency....or a way to twist the numbers in Obama’s favor).

The likely voter numbers are by nature worse, while registered is slightly better...say 45-47. Adults...which includes many of the major media orgs...have Obama basically at 50.

He’s very close to going below 50 in their polls as well though, which is bad news for him.

Here is the final version... just for laughs, I added the BP logo to his hat and shirt...

It's only fitting, as he was the recipient of HUGE donations by BP.
Not only that, but BP was a backer of Cap & Tax.

Feel free to post my images wherever you please, I only ask that you upload them to your own server, or each time you post them, upload them to another place on imageshack as if you don't, the images will be removed for excess bandwidth usage. :(

“Oprah gave them her personal assurance yesterday: “He’s doing the best he can.”

Get a clue, Oprah. This is EXACTLY why his popularity ratings are in the tank. Americans now realize they may as well have Homer Simpson in the WH for all the good this president is doing right now (apologies to Homer: please don’t sue me for libel).

Yes, and that press is guilty of treason by withholding the real news and truth with the agenda of manipulating election outcomes for DemocRats. If the mainstream populace, those that don’t get cable (Fox News) or have internet, knew what has really been going on, they’d be in that disapproval group too. At least, most of them. That leaves a hard-core leftist group of about 1/3 of the population still supporting Zero. But 2/3 of the country is what we need as far as official disapproval.

Or that segment he is never going to lose: The SSI, Section8, Food Stamps and Oprah Winfrey demographic.

Pardon my addition to your list.

This just means that 58% of Americans are racist, because everyone knows that Obama is the greatest president of all time!

Smarter than Einstein in fact!

He has all the degrees and awards to prove it too!

And don't be thinking he was just given those degrees and awards because he was black through affirmative action programs, he obviously EARNED every thing he has ever achieved (that he has chosen to reveal at least). We should feel honored that such a brilliant man as he, is willing to lower himself to try and solve our problems every one of which was caused by Bush.

But the big difference is the profitability of the company.

That's what one market "guru" on talk radio was saying on a "Business at Night" show recently. He actually thinks it's worth investing in BP now, because it produces oil all over the world and the demand for oil isn't going away anytime soon. He also said that while the BP name is hated, it could change its name to Amoco, one of the companies it purchased.

I have no idea if he's right, but it's interesting to consider.
