Mike Allen broke this astounding bit of news yesterday:
Phil Schiliro, the White House congressional liaison, has told the Senate to aim to take up an energy bill the week of July 12, after the July 4 break (and after the scheduled final passage of Wall Street reform).
Kagan confirmation will follow, ahead of the summer break, scheduled to begin Aug. 9.
The plan is to conference the new Senate bill with the already-passed House bill IN A LAME-DUCK SESSION AFTER THE ELECTION, so House members don't have to take another tough vote ahead of midterms.
A White House aide has the official word: "President Obama reiterated his call for comprehensive energy and climate legislation to break our dependence on oil and fossil fuels.
In the coming weeks he will be reaching out to Senators on both sides of the aisle to chart a path forward.
A number of proposals have been put forward from Members on both sides of the aisle.
We're open to good ideas from all sources, and will be working with Senators on a comprehensive proposal. The tragedy in the Gulf underscores the need to move quickly, and the President is committed to finding the votes for comprehensive energy legislation this year."

America -- a great idea, didn't last.
Anything right now to get the GUSHER off the people’s minds.....that’s what it’s about.
Only in liberal la-la land, where intentions matter and substance doesn't, can a scheme to raise taxes on electricity generated from coal be spun as a "response" to a leaking oil well.
There is going to be so much crap they’re going to try to jam through before they’re thrown out of office....
I’m done. Gave up, tired of living with so much hate and can’t stand to watch it any longer. Especially since it’s obvious this coup will succeed. I want to be far away when it finally happens. Heading on out of here in January to live in our vacation home.

I have yet to hear what the plan is for keeping China/Russia from nuking us during the chaos while power is transferred from Obama to the revolting people with guns.
Note the tagline people. Your guns won’t save you.
2 Chronicles 7:14

It's not always about the outcome, but just staying in the fight.....
For all those people who thought cap and tax was dead and Bambi wouldn’t dare do anything more on it for months...he’s going to push through everything he can now in a last ditch attempt to destroy us.
I hope we can make 'em pay for this....
Matthew 18:8-9
If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.
The litany of secession:
If a state or states causes socialism, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for a Free Republic to go on maimed or crippled than to have all its states and together be thrown into the eternal fire of collectivism. And if the Federal Government causes you to sin; secede from it, peacefully hopefully but secede just the same.. It is better to govern as a sovereign state, smaller and diminished in power than to be thrown into the fire of centralized Federal usurpation
Amen to everything you said. American Revolution II is the only way that we will throw socialist RAT bastard demoRATS especially 0bozo the rat bastard commie pig usurper-in-crap, into prison or to the gallows for high crimes & treason against the U.S. We need some states (like Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona) to start the ball rolling by seceding, followed by 8-10 other southern & western states. It will cause the collapse of socialism in the west coastal states (especially CA) and the NE liberal states. If we end up with two countries, one socialist and the other conservative based on our established constitution, than I’m all ok with that!
We don't care HOW much it costs!
