Get Ready! NOTHING short of full - blown power-hungry insanity can be expected from Democrats.
Dare we call this what it really is? Treason? An attempt to deliberately destroy and dismantle America from within?

This is a good thing. I want to have access to the internet and not have to pay extra to Verizon just because I am a small time user.
Don’t believe the BULLSHIT being spread about Net Neutrality, folks, it is a very positive thing for free expression on the internet.

Time to set up a telephone chain to get news out. Not sure exactly how to keep it going. We’re gonna have to do something because between ‘net neutrality and radio “neutrality” it will be tough to get the truth.

If I'm not mistaken, the FCC was slapped down by the federal courts for trying to implement Net Neutrality. The court ruled they did not have the authority. I have a feeling this is an attempt to avoid that court decision, essentially they are attempting to “re-regulate” the internet and then go back to the court and say now we can implement Net Neutrality because we have given ourselves the authority. I may be mistaken, but I don't think the courts will look to favorable on this approach. The original decision was pretty clear that only congress could grant them the authority to implement net neutrality.

It's unclear from the article what exactly they are trying to regulate. Certainly the regulation of content would be unconstitutional, and if I understand the argument of the proponents, it sounds as if they may be trying to provide additional access to the Internet, but we all know how the Left works - they always find ways of regulating the means in order to affect the behavior of people. I think any government regulation of the Internet should be approached with an abundance of caution.

The bolshies are hell-bent on tearing the US apart. They’re taking this tack in the wake of the Supreme Court’s ruling on net neutrality? God help us. How many times have these fascist pigs crossed the proverbial Rubicon already? At some point, even the left is going to wake up.

They'll institute a rating system for the Internet much like the one that was imposed on the movie business, probably being a much more convoluted system.

I thought it was solely conservatives, through their increases in basic homeland security and restrictions on mass illegal immigration and curbing of abortion, who were the ones against personal freedom. I guess through eliminating school choice and fighting gun rights the far left felt they had not caught up far enough with that good ole crazy religious right, so they will now turn to censoring the Internet to fully catch up. /s

Just a sure sign of desperation. Their message is not being readily accepted by the masses, and they are no longer able to frame the debate around their one-sided rules. Their solution, throw out the rules and put ones in place that will hamper the opposition.

Nothing I've read on this subject answers my questions about net neutrality:
What is it? What exact steps would be taken? Do we need it?
Investigative journalism is dead in this country.
