Nobody is advocating it be done without due process. We should go through the court’s etc. But ultimately BP is going to have to pay for the cleanup.

Whenever any slight event occured while GWB was in office, the price of gas jumped $0.50 a gallon. Remember Katrina? Gas skyrocketed here in MI after Katrina. It sure didn’t seem like supply and demand played a role from 2000-2008.
Another thing I was wondering, I heard that this accident occured when BP was shuttind down and capping this well. Why would they be capping the well if there was still so much oil that could spew so readily.....

This well was not in production. The effect of stopping drilling will be to keep them from dropping until Soros redeploys them off of Brazil. None of the producing wells were shut down. He stopped drilling.
