Snip- The oil giant brought its top brass, and even came armed with a top Clinton administration Justice Department official, Jamie Gorelick, whose name was floated as a possible attorney general pick for Obama. The White House side of the conference table in the Roosevelt Room was stacked: Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, five Cabinet secretaries, Coast Guard Adm. Thad Allen, Attorney General Eric Holder and top presidential advisors. Both sides had their lawyers on hand.
Obama was scheduled to spend 20 minutes in the meeting. He entered the room with an entourage: Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and her coordinator for claims oversight, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, Energy Secretary Steven Chu, Commerce Secrertary Gary Locke, Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, Rahm Emanuel, the White House chief of staff, and senior advisor Valerie Jarrett.

Maybe she can build a wall to contain the oil.
Pure Evil.
Ahh, for what do we prosecute her? Being an oppurtunistic A hole is not a crime.
If I had any sympathy for BP before today- it is now gone.
May this inept liberal human disaster of a bureaucrat Gorelick do for BP what she did to FNMA- but with their stockholder’s money, not the US Taxpayers’
Gorelick does give the impression that she engages in fraud, corruption and other criminal behavior.
ROFL. You old FReepers never do forget do you.
President Obama entered the meeting leading the 3 Stooges and the Marx brothers, accompanied by a Rosie O’Donnell look alike.
"We are safe. The evidence is gone.
BPs and DNCs own Jamie Gorelick will handle the destruction of all evidence
The cheeky American public will never know about our payoffs to Obama,
or the money British Petroleum pumped into Obama's 2008 presidential campaign,
or our ties to the White House
or Rahm Emanuels other connections to us.
I like that.
I wonder how much BP is paying her to sink their company?
Yep.
In a fascist state the corporate money is supplanted and used by the regime instead of taxes under threat of seizure. It is much worse than stealing taxpayer money. And it takes a special kind of fascist like Gorelick to do this.
I suspect that the Fannie Mae money was 30 pieces of silver for looking the other way and paving the Democrats 2008 campaign strategy.
The last I heard Gorelick had been chosen to lead the administration’s legal team that was to sue BP for the cleanup. Now she is representing them???? I smell a scam here especially since BP caved so quickly to this excrow fund — and the Obama czar who will be administering it.
Is Gorelick on the Kenyan’s ass-kicking list?
GORELICK GATE - various FR links
Gorelick's book "Destruction of Evidence"
On Aug. 22, 1996, just before the Democratic National Convention,
Ms. Gorelick oversaw a critical Justice Department meeting with the FBI.
Immediately after this meeting, as it happened,
all serious inquiry into the fate of TWA 800 came to an end.
All just a wink and a nod?
You know, that is a very good observation. The “bubble” in real estate was designed by Goldman Sachs and facilitated by Fannie and Freddie (with Gorelick and Franklin Raines in charge). The next planned bubble being orchestrated largely by Goldman Sachs is the carbon credits market, and CrapnTrade on the govt side of facilitation. BP is a principal signatory on Crap n Trade so they can be the major player in the carbon credits scam. The bag woman for all of this bubble making is Jameie Gorelick, a criminal in place responsible for 9-11. She was also on the “9-11 Commission” that should have been investigating HER!! This should break every camel’s back. Freepers we can no longer sit on the sidelines. Take a stand, and conservative activism. This is just wrong. Spread the word.
Barney Frank ran the investigations into Fannie and Freddie when HE opposed oversight that George Bush wanted into their accounting back in 2003.
HE should have been answering how objective could he be when he had SLEPT with one of the young male executives at Fannie.
And not only Jamie Gorelick but Louis Freah. TWO freaks go from national security to banking? With that track record under their belts?
