June 15, 2010 MSNBC Trashes Obama's Address: Compared To Carter, "I Don't Sense Executive Command"

Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and Howard Fineman react to President Obama's Oval Office Address on the oil spill. Here are the highlights of what the trio said:

Matthews compared Obama to Carter.

Olbermann: "Nothing specific at all was said."

Matthews: "No direction."

Howard Fineman: "He wasn't specific enough."

Olbermann "I don't think he aimed low, I don't think he aimed at all. It's startling."

Howard Fineman: Obama should be acting like a "commander-in-chief."

Matthews: Ludicrous that he keeps saying [Secretary of Energy] Chu has a Nobel prize. "I'll barf if he does it one more time."

Matthews: "A lot of meritocracy, a lot of blue ribbon talk."

Matthews: "I don't sense executive command."

>I remember that LBJ said when he lost Walter Cronkite [CBS], he lost the country. So, he decided not to run in 1968 ...

Has Obama just lost MSNBC ???<

Absolutely not!
Matthews would still have Obama’s baby if he could (to both their mutual satisfactions I am sure)

and they call US Tea baggers!

Ah I can’t see it, Munz. I wish I could too, because I could use a laugh tonight.

The comment on the video....was asking why didn’t he tell us when the well will be capped....HA...he didn’t say it ‘cause they are unable to cap it or stop the oil since the pipe is busted below the seabed...only hope is can the relief well be finished before everything below collapses.

Im sorry, I tried .. I know it is not a happy time for any of us.

This is a straight link, if you can see it good

Keep in mind one serious thing. There is some good coming from Obama. he is so bad that there will be a resurgence of patriotism to get rid of him. Just like Carter brought us Regan so too will Obama bring us a REAL president who can take charge. Give us back our freedom and preserve our United States.

keep the faith.

It wants me to download an attachment to see it, I think this is why I could not see it in your original post.

I think you are right about the resurgence of patriotism. From what I can tell, his speech pleased no one tonight. Even his usual crowd seems to be really upset with his utter lack of everything. I just hope we get to the end of this nightmare ride without imploding first.

Thank you very much for the encouraging words.

My dog had more executive command than Carter. Heck, my hamster does.

Obama’s in trouble.

Never was any shine on this creature for me. All I ever saw was empty, dark, and frightening evil that gave me a sense of forboding from the very first second I saw him at the democrat irrational convention giving that speech for john effen skerry and it has only gotten worse by the minute.
The first time I saw him I actually told a friend he reminded me of a blue-lipped djinn out of a horror story. I was right.

Zero has momentarily lost some libs
The more I think of it, the more I think Zero has NOT lost any libs, even momentarily. I think this is his cheering section and they are cheering him on to become dictator and making it easier for him to do so by PRETENDING to criticize him.

They are acting out the exact role Zero needs them to act out at this point in time, the dismayed press, dismayed that Obama hasn't "taken greater power to solve all our problems like a Big Brother should".

Obama needs them to say these things and they're coming through for him, with flying colors.
