WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama called the Gulf of Mexico oil spill "the worst environmental disaster America has ever faced" and will take years to combat.
Obama in a speech Tuesday night from the Oval Office said that "unlike an earthquake or a hurricane, it is not a single event that does its damage in a matter of minutes or days."

Hey BO...Google “Lakeview Gusher”...it was an immense out of control pressurized oil well blow out in California. Now it was 100 years ago in 1910. But it blew out 9,000,000 barrels of oil over an 18 month span.

I don’t think the spill was manufactured but the foot dragging response was clearly deliberate.
As I understand it, obama’s email to supporters all but admitted that it was done to punish conservatives into compliance.
