Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) says US Senate candidate Alvin Greene's (D-SC) win in last week's primary race is highly suspicious.
Clyburn says South Carolina used voting machines that all other states rejected. In fact, they were bought from Louisiana, he said.
"Something went wrong with these machines," Clyburn said. "They were very unreliable," he added.
"All you need is a magnet" to compromise the machines, Rep. Clyburn said.
Who would have a motive? "The motive could very well be to embarass the Democratic party. This could be embarassing if we do not get it worked out. Or this could be someone who wanted to ensure a victory [for incumbent Sen. Jim DeMint]," Clyburn said.
Clyburn concluded there is a "great possibility" that someone paid for him to run and tampered with the machines.

Democratic nominee Greene may be a bit reticent, far better then the jamoke quoted below.
Our very own dear leader:
- Navy Corpse-Man Christian Brossard.” mispronouncing “Corpsman” during a speech at the National Prayer Breakfast, Washington, D.C., Feb. 5, 2010 (The Corpsman’s name is also Christopher, not Christian)
Sen clyburn: There is a “great possibility” that someone removed your brain soon after birth. I read that “somewhere” by “someone”. Therefore, it is possibly true.
OLTG's Rules for a Successful Life #23: "When calling someone a derogatory name, such as "imbicile" or "moran" or "dumby", check, and then double and triple-check spelling and grammar. Then check again."
This story is the gift that keeps on giving.
I don't care how u vote...as long as “I” get to count them
I don't question that he's there....But.. I damned sure question HOW he got there
Judging by his interview yesterday on the Mark Levin, Mr. Greene is abundant in a lack of self awareness. It was possibly one of the most painful interviews I have listened to.
Levin realized he was talking to someone of diminished capacity and was handling him with kid gloves. Mark asked hm who his opponent was, and it was obvious he had to read it from notes.
More than anything, this is sad.
Hmmmmm....
Maybe one of his party jobs on the way up was Precinct Magnet Man...

Yes, yes and yes. But what I don’t get, what doesn’t compute, is that he supposedly has a college degree in political science, which to me indicates at least basic reading skills. Or no?
I think it is a "post turtle". A turtle on a fencepost. You know he did not get there by himself, he doesn't know what to do now that he is there, and he can't get down.
I’d like to smoke whatever Mr. Clyburn is smoking. That’s some powerful s**t!
these miscreants are unbelievable...
Something must have happened between his college days and now because he currently doesn’t seem capable of navigating his way to the grocery store.
Most amazing is that Rawl now that he lost the election claims that Greene is incompetent to hold the office. So what was Rawl doing during the campaign? Didn’t he know that Greene was running against him? He didn’t try to find out what Greene’s qualifications were? He can’t be that stupid, can he? The guy lives in his state not a foreign country!
If there is any shenanigans going on, the Democrats are the most likely suspect. Rawl had about as much chance of winning as Joran van der Sloot would and DeMint had nothing to gain from tampering with Greene’s results. However Democrats will stoop to about anything in an effort to invalidate the election results.
You can always tell what democRats are up to by what they accuse others of doing.
Sounds a lot like me after too many cold ones. Thanks for the explanation.
Roger that...
Thanks to all that gave me an explanation for stump/post turtle. Now all I’ll do while driving in the country is watch out for deserted turtles on posts. Geesh! :)
