We plan to network with fellow husker patriots across Nebraska. There is much to do, and I look forward to working with as many of you as is possible.
An account will be established for donations from SWNETP funding efforts. These monies will be used to cover the costs of printing fliers and legislative information packs, and for purchasing TEA Party paraphernalia sold at our events. We are examining tax issues and whether to incorporate. Updates will come as we move forward. Our success is in your hands!
Space is rented in the Community Center at the McCook Fairgrounds, for our first SWNETP meet and greet: Mon, July 12, 2010 at 6:30 PM CT. We will place an announcement in the McCook Gazette. We will also consider the effectiveness of a future ad campaign.
A SWNETP information booth will be set up July 4 at the Hitchcock County Fairgrounds. Our objective is to distribute fliers for the July 12 meeting, and to solicit volunteers to decorate our float entry to the Heritage Days parade. Whether our entry is grand or modest depends only on the active participation of SWNETP members. We have located a supplier of 18th century period costumes, and have an appointment with the distributor ("Bev's" of Cambridge, NE) July 20 at 5 PM CT We will apply for vendor space in Norris Park for the Heritage Days celebration, which begins September 25. We will have TEA PARTY yard signs, bumper stickers, Tee-shirts and hats. We request free-will donations to offset the costs:

We will have a canopy, and we will ask for volunteers to help distribute fliers and information on the organization and our goals.
