Embracing Stupidity? by Norma Zager
Most evolving lineages, human or otherwise, when threatened with extinction, dont do anything special to avoid it George C. Williams
Despite Oprahs valiant efforts to awaken us to our inner better selves, the non-stop parade of self help books that produce step by step instructions and a map for locating our inner good, we race headlong into stupidity like an out of control Formula One driver toward a wall.
Aside from the tragic loss of dead trees these tomes have created, they have failed to inspire any worthwhile change in mans hatred or a cessation of evil.
Saddest of all is the fact that despite their ancient lineage, the worlds religions have failed their followers miserably.
If asked which may have been a bit more successful at their goal, I would have to site Hinduism and Buddhism as the only religions that have remained true to their core value of peace, inner and worldly.
Judaism has served as a perfect foil for all those who aspire to spread hate and intolerance. Could it be the Jews themselves share much of the blame for this success?
Speaking with my daughter today I was amazed at how little awareness she possessed of the Jewish plight. As though Germany could never reoccur. Is this not simply the belief of most Jewish youth?
We are now faced with a series of events that will propel mankind headlong into certain extinction.
The Jewish people are once again facing a Holocaust, but there is now a marked difference. Where once Israel had allies against evil, today she has none. The Jewish people face the world alone, not even the United States, who carries a promise from President Eisenhower after he freed the camps, is still looking out for Israels best interests.
In 1945, General Eisenhower insisted pictures be taken so despite mans propensity to ignore history, no one would forget or dispute what had happened in Germany. Today those pictures only serve as inspiration to the world to do a better job of ridding the Jews from the planet. To the haters it was merely a job half done.
Jewish people still ignore the reality that they were assigned to concentration camps on the basis of their birth certificate not their voting records. Who will bother to ask for ones political views when focused on murder and the creation of a new world order?
My own daughter was surprised about my concern for the Jewish people. What do you think is going to happen, Mother? They are going to throw all the Jews into concentration camps again? she asked in wonder.
No need, they can kill off almost half by destroying Israel and the rest can be dealt with in their individual countries. Of course in the United States the Kapos (those Jews who joined with the Germans) would be out in force to turn in their more right-wing relatives.
How dumb can the Jewish people be?
During World War II, the Japanese Americans were thrown into interment camps as a safeguard against spies.
When Israel is at war with Iran and Hamas, whom the United States will no doubt find a reason to back, Jewish Americans may be rounded up, thrown in camps, and like Pollard who spied for the Israelis, remain locked away, the key thrown away forever.
It is not such a stretch to imagine since we now have the most anti-Israel administration in the history of our country. Who could have imagined the United States would side with terrorists against Israel?
Guess we were fooled.
Do the leftist dreamers think these camps will be spas like La Costa? The worst part would be sharing the camps with the Jewish Congressmen who allowed treatment of Israel to escalate to such heights.
Aside from the Jewish plight, the world faces a threat from an old religion determined to change the course of history and move us backwards through time into an era when intolerance is monumental.
So many young people today are atheistic. I have spoken to some, and I am struck by my inability to provide a sufficient argument in defense of religion. It is impossible to counter logic by espousing faith.
The sheer corruption of the Gods intentions leave me speechless, and the cruelty and evil that are done in the name of a deity are in themselves truly indefensible.
Although in my heart I know there is a divine presence at work, how can I argue against logic when faced with comments like religions murder people, they spread hatred, they spread intolerance, they protect those within their own churches who commit evil and they corrupt the intention of God.
I simply cannot.
Telling someone who can provide proof of these accusations with an argument that consists of because I know God exists is weak. I see his miracles every day. I know the Lord has reasons for everything or man has free will so it isnt Gods fault man chooses evil, just doesnt cut it.
One young man asked me why, if the Lord is so powerful, He cannot destroy evil. What can I say? How can I defend or even attempt to explain Darfur or Rwanda, the Holocaust or the unbelievable murder and intolerance that exist each day and every hour with a phrase like, its Gods purpose? The atheist response, what kind of God is this, and why would I want to believe in something that allows such deeds in His name?
I simply cannot.
Yes, I understand faith is the belief in something when there is no earthly reason to do so, but logically I ask like these non-believers, what type of deity is it we have put our faith in when I see the world around me?
I do not believe for one moment that most of the world is unaware evil is winning, that the earth becomes a more dangerous and frightening place each day. The enemies of good are overcoming and will continue to do so because no one is willing to stand up and say Enough!
In the next year the world will face its greatest crisis when it is forced to choose once more. Will mankind stand up and battle the forces of darkness, or will mankind become a part of Satans army? This remains to be seen.
My greatest fear is the world will continue on its crash course and continue embracing stupidity.
I suppose we all have to hang onto the concept that if one man can change the world for evil, another individual can also change it for good. That is something in which we can all retain our faith each day. As long as decent, honorable people still exist, so too does the hope they will prevail.
I only have one answer that makes sense. Simply, that I have no answers. Each man must choose goodness and stand up against oppression, lies and brutality.
Can it be done? That is a question only the future can and will answer. The question I would be asking is once they have killed all the Jews, whom will they come for next?

My answer to most of those questions is, “That is only a problem if there is NO God! As long as we have a loving God who takes care of matters after we die even the greatest so-called tragedy is tolerable. With no God they are truly tragedies.”
The question of “How could God let that happen?” is moot if you are a believer. Even if not a believer the question is vain and assumptive. Thinking we can know God’s mind other than what He has told us is vanity.
If you are a believer what I say is acceptable. If you are not it won’t satisfy you at all. A person cannot be converted to belief through reasoning.
