Sometimes even the seemingly most unreasonable characters as far public policy goes can be reasoned with if the circumstances are right. Just sometimes it takes someone like Steve Forbes to pull it off.

On the June 14 broadcast of MSNBC's "Morning Joe," Forbes explained that a flat tax might be the medicine that Greece, a country on the fiscal brink needs.

I think I’ve read of a couple of countries in Europe that have the flat tax, limited government expenditures, and are surviving and thriving....Latvia ? Lithuania ?? There’s proof it works.

Just like the old Soviet Union. The native people were treated like crap while the outsiders have it good. With our MSM, we are treated like crap and yet concerning outsiders, they are treated better. We can’t have a simplified flat tax system but other countries can. WTF !
