Blacks are starting to resent the attention paid to Hispanics and see immigration as a direct threat to their own interests...it will be interesting to see how the Dems can hold the blacks and hispanics together!

They can win the 30-35% or so who consider themselves Americans and came here to escape their third world counties of origin.

If we had a sane immigration policy, we could also win those who become newly minted citizens because they want to be Americans.

We aren't going to win over those who see America as a milk cow, an ATM and a colony to be transformed into another version of the third world country where they escaped. Real socialism is always preferable to socialism lite for such people.

The American-Hispanic wants his or her country to be the best, one they can be proud of. All Americans should strive for integrity in our elected and in our schools i.e., teachers. Republicans are far better at this than the Progressive Liberal....just keep the elected feet to the fire
to do as they promise. I will vote for the businessman any day over the politician who has never run even a small business. I think all Americans want that; do not accept bribes of any sort - DEMAND honesty from those running for office...I think our newest citizens be they Hispanic or other, feel the same way.

There is a great percentage of “hispanics”(I never use that word) who work at jobs and raise families. I have spoken to several who are victims of crime(car theft, burglary, etc) by illegals. They are angry that people with no legal identity and no right to be in this country can commit crime after crime and be protected by politicians.

I have also spoken to “hispanics” who have taken their children to the emergency room and who have health insurance but were required to wait for hours while illegals clog the emergency rooms and get free medical care.

Other “hispanics” who have jobs and pay taxes see illegals using multiple fake identities to collect welfare, food stamps etc.

There are plenty of “hispanics” who are upset about illegals. The Republicans are just stupid about how they present the issue. But even with all the Republican stupidity and incompetence, if they just stick to their principles and oppose attempts to encourage people to break out laws and sponge off taxpayers, they can still win.

Republicans have to fine their guts, spine, and gonads first. The leadership of the GOP should spend 24/7 watching Christ Christi to find out what a real American with spine and guts is like.

This (and most of the GOP’s turnout problems) is an education issue. If the GOP would get out there in Spanish where the immigrants live, tell their story and explain what they stand for, the Hispanic vote would be all theirs.

However, there is no conservative push to them. The only story they are hearing now is liberal.

If they knew the truth, they would vote accordingly. Unless they are presented with alternatives, they will get stuck voting the way their parents did and we will have another generation of a clueless electorate. Another Obama waiting to happen.

We need to change the narrative and control the message about conservative issues.

May have more to do with the public schools than demographics.

From the article:

The overall shift appears driven by birth rates and immigration, not “white flight” to private schools. There is no precise number of students attending private and parochial schools in Texas, but the conflicting estimates don’t show any big increase in recent years.

The National Center for Educational Statistics reports 296,000 Texas children attended private and parochial schools in 2007-08, with most enrolled in Catholic schools. About 80,000 children are in Catholic schools this year, 43 percent of them white and 41 percent Hispanic, said Margaret McGettrick, director of education for the Texas Catholic Conference.

The Oregon-based National Home Education Research Institute estimated at least 210,000 Texas kids were being taught at home in 2008-09 but had no demographic information on them.

There is now way for Republicans to fix this problem by confronting it head on. Continued good “marketing” of Conservative ideals is helpful, but it won’t win many more hispanic votes than now.

Rather, they need to solve illegal immigration and the culture of dependency and entitlement society that give Democrats their natural base.

Over two thirds voted for Obama in 2008.

A continued massive immigration, legal or illegal, of barely educated, impoverished individuals who have an illegitimacy rate of 50% spells doom to Conservatism. Deal with it.

Conservatives may have a chance with Cubans and educated Hispanics. But, those are relatively few relative to the Hispanic total.

Current demographic trends will continue as long as the spigot is still open. If the GOP stops pandering and starts getting tough about the illegal immigrant invasion, the numbers won't change significantly in the coming years.

They can try to “blame whitey” only so much, but when blacks are already noticing the attempts to displace blacks by hispanics in many neighborhoods, noting that they are being displaced by hispanics in jobs, noting increased attacks on them in prisons by hispanics, then that worm will turn. Shoot many of what folks call “hispanic” look so caucasian(as opposed to mestizo mexican types) you can’t tell the difference anyway!

It isn't "Hispanics" that are the concern. It is poor or zero educated "Mexicans".

My wife and all other non-Mexican Hispanics that I know are very conservative and are for shutting down illegal immigration. You could not get them to vote for a Democrat/Progressive/Commie/Leftist.

There needs to be a push to inform and educate Hispanics that they are being used as pawns by the left, and are being kept ignorant, poor and uninformed by those who seem to want to give unconditionally.
Racial strife is as big,if not a bigger, business in this country as environmental radicalism.Anti-indoctrination is what's needed, and in a huge way.
The leftist tentacles run so long and deep in the fabric of America it's beginning to choke out the good growth, and we are in for much harder times if an effective counterattack is not launched, and soon.

Instead of trying to win this demographic or that demographic, why can't we just get politicians who will do the right thing and let the chips fall where they may?

That's because most politicians wouldn't know what the right thing was if it hit them between the eyes.

There is no quick fix to this political problem. Gallup shows Hispanics generically favor Democrats 2 to 1.

First of all, this is so much propaganda. I doubt very much if latinos can be considered a strong voting base. These people can't even read or speak English. The 2009 NJ gubernatorial race was one example when the plan to milk this vote failed miserably.

Secondly, and most importantly, Republicans can overcome any percevied deficiencies by casting doubts on the legitimacy of the Hispanic vote. Nothing is as "American" as the US voting system. Americans would be furious to know it has been rigged in favor of latinos.

There is mountains of evidence that show illegals establish multiple identities (that all vote). Identities are faked with forged documents that enable them to rig the US electoral system.

The Obama admin continues to tolerate this ntl-security nightmare of illegals using multiple identities for fear of offending the Mexican government, the National Council of La Raza, and other immigrant advocates....all of whom are providing Democrat voters to endangered Dems. This outrage is burdening taxpayers and polluting our election system----b/c these criminals adopt multiple fraudulent identities.

Evidence shows illegals establish several identities with phony SS nos and fake documents (which these "poor immigrants" buy from document brokers for several thousand dollars). Illegals also get their anchor babies SS nos. They then use the SS nos to establish fake identities.

Nine charged in phony IDs case
San Antonio Express News | Guillermo Contreras
R Posted on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 by Racehorse

Agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement have taken down a ring accused of providing fake identities for hundreds of people in San Antonio and Austin. After six months of investigation, ICE agents charged nine people in the case, and seven have been arrested. The other two, one of whom is one of the ringleaders, remain at large.

At a hearing in federal court Monday in San Antonio for one of the suspects, ICE agent Timothy McElligott testified about a series of raids in San Antonio and Austin that turned up document-making equipment, blank identity cards stock and Social Security cards.

The ring was “distributing and selling drivers' licenses from different states, identity documents and immigration-related documents like Social Security cards and green cards,” said Jerry Robinette, special agent in charge of ICE in San Antonio, whose territory includes Austin and stretches to the Rio Grande Valley.

The fakes also included drivers' licenses from other countries, such as Honduras, McElligott testified. All the suspects are either Mexican nationals or undocumented immigrants, according to ICE. The documents generally sold for $100 each, agents found. An undercover agent bought a fake green card, Social Security card and Texas driver's license during the probe.

McElligott testified that suspect Johnnys Amilca Raudales Moncada admitted to being one of the sellers of the counterfeit documents, though the suspect argued at Monday's hearing that he did not participate. The suspect was one of two men found when agents served a search warrant at an apartment in the 9200 block of North Plaza in Austin. Investigators believe the ring was led in San Antonio by Gregory Hernandez Trolle and in Austin by a man tentatively identified as Carlos Saldaña. Trolle is in custody without bond and waived his preliminary and bail hearing, along with five of the other suspects, leaving Amilca Raudales Moncada as the lone suspect to contest the agents' evidence.

Hernandez, whose apartment in the 10300 block of Sahara in San Antonio was raided May 12, admitted to agents that he manufactured “at least 1,000” counterfeit IDs in the past four months, McElligott testified. Saldaña has not been found since agents initially saw him at one of the target locations during their investigation, according to McElligott. McElligott testified that the ring spent about $15,000 on document-making machines and supplies from Alpha Card, an Oregon company that provides similar equipment for government agencies or private businesses, which use the equipment to make identifications for employees.

At Monday's hearing, U.S. Magistrate Judge Nancy Nowak found probable cause that Amilca Raudales Moncada was involved in the conspiracy to make, possess or transfer fake identification documents. She ordered him detained without bond. Also charged are Miguel “Joel” Vasquez Diaz, Alexander Perez, Leonel Gobos Murillo, Bernardina “Brenda” Rodriguez, Daniel Alberto Chacon Ramon and a suspect not in custody whose name was not released.

The case is likely to be presented to a grand jury in the coming weeks. If convicted, each suspect faces up to five years in prison.

2 Texans accused of planning to sell counterfeit IDs

NORTH BERGEN, NJ -- (AP) ---The Pelcastre brothers were a walking threat to national security -- expert document forgers who, for a few thousand dollars, could give anyone a new identity, authorities said. (ED. The invaders peddle drugs for money to buy fake documents.)

When police stumbled across the Pelcastre brothers, the men had turned a Tonnelle Avenue hotel room into a business office and were readying a massive cache of fake Social Security cards for delivery to a local identity broker.

The brothers, Angel, 31, and Jorge, 34, both of Dallas, were a "one-stop shop" for a myriad of government documents, including birth certificates, Social Security cards, driver's licenses for any state in the country including passports and resident alien cards .

If terrorists were able to get their hands on this stuff they'd have free passage throughout the country. Note that Mexico is the global staging area for any individual seeking entry across US borders.

A L/E task force happened upon two cars bearing Texas plates in the parking lot of the NJ hotel. Authorities wouldn't identify the hotel by name for fear it could hinder cooperation from other hotels in future investigations or spark retribution from savage, murderous drug lords. Members of the task force began watching the cars, a Chevrolet Impala and a Pontiac Firebird, and followed the brothers to an office supply store in a nearby shopping center, where the men purchased computer supplies.

Officers then followed the brothers to a self-storage facility in Secaucus, where they loaded several boxes from a storage unit into one of the cars, Jones said. One of the men stood lookout, which heightened police suspicion, he said. The brothers consented to a search of their cars, hotel room and the storage facility, he said. Police recovered laminating sheets with built-in security features, pages of blank documents waiting for fake names and information, finished documents, computers and software to create the fake IDs.

All told, the haul was worth about $500,000 on the street. Police also recovered $6,000 in cash, which was the first payment from a fake document broker for a shipment of 500 Social Security cards. "They were aggressively selling to brokers....not like selling driver's licenses to individuals. These were multiple layers of high-level documents. The brothers were being held in jail without bail on charges of possessing fraudulent documents and conspiracy to sell fraudulent documents. Federal charges are also pending against them.

No but they may not stick with the Dems either, the intra party feuds will weaken the party structures that will become more apparent over time.

You see, the way they play these articles out it looks like whites will be overcome by this ‘tidal wave’ of brown ethnicity...but what you really have by mid century or so is a 6-13-31-50 split with 6 per cent being asian or polynesian,13 per cent(not much change expected from present)black,31 per cent hispanic(cuban and mexican), and 50 per cent white. Leaving aside the whites, the rest of the ethnicities don’t necessarily have the same interests in common! Except from promises of freebies from the fading influence of “whitey”, what else do the Dems have to keep these coalitions from flying apart?
