Ayudame Dios, but I find this topic fascinating. Now you must tell me what you find ticklish in the Argentine accent? THe others I’m fairly familiar with, los Cubanos very much so.

Great. Glad to know we crashed their server! You should go back later because that cell is really, really nasty looking.

My understanding is once the trial ends so does the single cell.

I recall seeing him sipping on his last fancy coffee drink on the hotel surveillance video.
Last one of those he's going to have, hope the scumbag enjoyed it.
He'll definately get hurt soon!

I agree 100%.
But it would make SUCH a great film or novel plot if someone in his situation, hated around the world, chased down and imprisoned, if that fictional character was totally the victim of a frameup. Some patriot or rebel who pisses off Big Brother, perhaps, and is given the deluxe frame job. Imagine being screamed at in every public sitation as a killer, if you were innocent? If what the public believed was 180* around from the truth?
Great plot for a novel.

He’d better hope for a long trial! But I think not.
“Look Mom, I’m famous! I’m on TV all over the world!”
Joran finally hits the bigtime.
Once he’s in the gen pop, he will be asked every minute, “Are you as tough fighting men as you are killing girls?”
And coming in and killing a very popular local girl.....national honor will demand his death.

They way they pronounce their ‘y’s, for one thing, like a soft j. “Show no se.” “E-yosh no saben, tampoco.” It’s just funny.

I’m certain that an inmate will be able to get to him and kill him.
It may mean bribing a prison guard to look the other way.

Our American system certainly could learn a few things from the peruvians about how to treat a confessed scumbag. Also, instead of $100K like our inmates cost to house in prison, I’ll bet the Peruvians are keeping him for about $50 annually!

I wonder if there is an option, as there is in several American prisons, where he can select protective custody with the other snitches and child molestors? If he’s tough enough to ask for the general population and some freedom of movement in the prison, or to be locked forever in solitary, going nuts?
Hobbes Choice.
