The Dutchman will not eat and sleep on the floor. Colombian hitman Trujillo Ospina, presumed assassin of Myriam Fefer, tries to visit him in his cell, which measures three meters by two-and-a-half meters.
(He) was transfered Friday to the maximum security prison Miguel Castro Castro, after confessing to murdering the young Peruian Stephany Flores. The cameras of the program "Weekly Report" record the entry of the European into the prison. Flanked by various agents and accompanied by the chief of the Institute of National Prisons, Rubén Rodríguez Rabanal, Van der Sloot was taken to a personal (single occupant) cell. He was examined by prison system doctors and was assigned the number 326390. He was able to speak Spanish and didn't need a translator...
Van der Sloot said he had a headache and hadn't eaten anything for two days....

The only question now is will the other convicts kill him before or after the trial.
Van Der Sloot loved to gamble, so honoring that let’s start a pool on how long he lasts in Castro prison.
That is why he is in a cell himself. The Peruvians know the whole world is watching and want to do this by the book, despite the fact that people are braying for his death. You should read the Peru blogs, and the imaginative ways they would deal with him. There is also a parallel argument going on about Peruvian woman who have dealings with gringos, why they shouldn’t, how dangerous it is, how it is a result of racism and discrimination against the native meztizos, etc. Very interesting.
Thanks for posting that. I was able to follow 90% of her excellent Peruvian Spanish. Very nice accent, comparado por ejemplo, con los Cubanos. En mi opinion.
He is VERY lucky to have a private cell. If he was in one of the anarchical prisons with 20 men in big cells, and open within the prison at all hours, he wouldn’t last a month. As a point of Peruvian honor he would be killed.
Another example of why I hate Flash..
Joran looks a bit dazed.
Joran will be past tense one week after entering the general prison population.

Poor baby has a headache and hasn’t eaten in two days.
Stephany’s not feeling so good either!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not a peep from Whoreldo yet as to how Americans view the numerous murders of their own Citizens by all of the illegal Mexicans here though.
He’ll live forever in a solitary cell. Caged like an animal in for dirty concrete walls, no window, no view.
Glad it was a nasty cell.
I can always easily understand the Mexicans, the Peruvians, the Chileans and most Central Americans. I have a little trouble with the Cubanos, Boricuas, really with the Dominicans, and to a lesser extent, Colombians and Venezuelans. It is usually a class thing, where I can’t understand the peons very well, but I can understand the newscasts and the entertainment just fine. (I understand Argentinians, too, but get a huge laugh/kick out of their accents. I don’t know why, it just tickles me.)
He can’t be in general population for five minutes.
So he’ll rot away over many decades, like the old-timer who helped the Count of Monte Cristo dig his way out.
22 years plus 35 means he’ll be 57 when he sees freedom again. If ever.
Hope not, he needs to stay there, alive, for a very long time.
I’m just guessing, but I’m betting he’s a psychopath- albeit a not very bright one. He’s a punk who got everything handed to him on a silver platter by parents who were wealthy and influential. They bailed him out his entire life and he got the idea that he was more or less invincible. But the idea he could go to a third world rat hole like Peru and continue his evil ways without fear of punishment, just shows how stupid he is.
One week in the general prison population is my bet, he has to sleep some time.
What a dilemma. Should I bet on hours or days? Weeks would be really optimistic.
