At times, I just don't know about the WHY. Yes, Obama wants to push his Green agenda, but he's catching a lot of hell from his Environmental supporters He, Algore, Rahmbo and others are invested in 'green carbon trading' companies. They stand to make a lot of money and gain even more power to control us.

Barry, the so-called gulf disaster is what happened because your administration expedited BP's request to drill this particular well in that particular spot, setting aside various environmental regulations, rubber stamping requests to alter procedures sometimes within five minutes of their submission. YOU, Barry Obama, and your people are the cause of the trouble.

While they blame BP, Obama has tons of funding for workers who sit around and do nothing. This is proof that government does nothing but steal when left to its own device.
It’s the hand tying legislation, stupid.

...actually this is what a big government socialist power grab has gotten us.
Unbelievable this guy won’t accept any responsibility whatsoever, and the double back flip with a McTwist he performs trying to spin this spill into a push for bigger government only goes to show you he does not care about the spill, or the people of the gulf.
His only focus appears to be installing a socialist government in the US.

Of course that’s too much to ask, the govt is enormous, and that is in direct conflict with efficient! It is now a maze no one can find their way through to get done what needs to be done, not even those who work in the maze. One hand has no idea what the other is doing! You cannot coordinate at all with large govt containing a multitude of agencies and organization all getting lost in the govt maze.

I cannot argue that. Jindal and ALL the other governors in the area should just do what needs to be done, and listen to the whining later.

Obama to Tea Partiers: See! The Gulf Disaster is What Smaller Government Will Get You...actually smaller government would not have set up so many restrictions and limitations on energy exploration and development that it would have driven companies to be drilling in a mile of water where they have little chance of handing an emergency effectively when it occurs......

“The republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.

I was thinking about this and have always advocated that the companies I work at not do government contracts.
For example there are many steps involved when ordering and taking possession of a widget. Every step of the process requires an individual in the supply chain to make decisions with the resources available. These individuals also are influenced by incentives in a competitive environment. If they fail others will replace them. This is the most efficient model for the production of goods and services. No person can know every facet of the supply chain, nor can any one person anticipate the changing needs of a technologically driven society.
Now enter socialism, unions and the government. Imagine that at every link of the supply chain you have regulations and labor laws skewing the profitability of each and every enterprise. These are the reasons why the heavy hand of government (unions are part of that occupation) will never be able to fulfill the requirements of productive services. This is also why governments grow until they collapse. As every effort is met with failure, the government continues to regulate and grow until the skewed economics of fiat currency and silenced economic feedback leads to a collapse.
This has happened to every society that has chosen government oppression over liberty.

Obama talks out of both sides of his mouth. Why doesn't he waive the Jones Act, talk to the numerous scientists who have come forward with inventions, materials, and ideas that they say will help, order the bureaucracy in the Gulf States to work with the locals - not get in their way -when they say they have ideas.
No. Don't let a good crisis go to waste. This spill is too sweet for them to let go. Another excuse for their environmental agenda, their nanny state agenda.
