Sarah Gordon, Sky News Online A television station has aired video footage that it claims shows a US border patrol agent shooting dead a 15-year-old Mexican boy.

The incident, which happened on Monday, sparked public outcry in Mexico and strained diplomatic relations between the neighbouring countries.
Schoolboy Sergio Adrian Hernandez Huereka died after the US agent opened fire from the El Paso, Texas, side of the border.
Now the mobile phone footage - which was shown on Univision, a Spanish language television network in the US - has further enraged Mexican opinion.
It apparently shows the officer firing three shots towards Mexico before it zooms in on what appears to be a body under a bridge.

Actually it shows a border guard that is a pretty good marksman. Good shooting sir!!!

Anyone able to tell from that footage how far that alleged shot might have been? With a standard-issue sidearm, that would be a pretty long shot, particularly if the subject was running.

A 15-year-old shoots at me, I’m shooting back. Bullets know no age, and a 15-year-old shooting at me is just as dangerous as a 40-year-old shooting at me...he has just entered the fair game arena and is liable to get shot graveyard dead.
It is strange that someone would be up on top at that exact moment with a phone, or it at least it is strange to me

What does “towards Mexico” really mean? I understood that the kid was under the US side of the bridge?
If the BP Agent shoots at ANY angle less than 90 degrees or greater that 270 degrees, while facing the river, the bullet would necessarily travel “towards Mexico”.
That proves NOTHING. If the kid was on the US side then the BP Agent was dead to rights defending himself.
Are the Mexicans upset about 15 year old boys from Guatemala who are shot by Mexican border guards as they attempt to cross the border? Thought not.

More proof that we don’t need just ‘a’ border wall......we need to construct/build multiple consecutive walls whose base extends 50-100’ ft into the ground, is monitored every x-amount of feet by remote cameras, etc., etc.
Mexico, cry me a river. This is one illegal that won't be ending up in SW US joining a gang, stealing services or fathering anchor babies.
Mexicans killing each other by the thousands over the past couple of years. Kidnappings and murders increasing all along the border. Illegals flooding in and a Border Patrol that is under manned and under attack (about 1100 assaults on BP agents in the last year). On top of this we have a leftist media that supports the Mexican invasion and an administration and congressional majority that applaud the Mexican president’s assault on American law and his open support of illegals that flood our nation. From what I read the Americans living along the border feel they are under siege and for good reason.
It is rapidly coming to the point where if those charged with the duty to protect the borders and our citizens are unable or unwilling to do so then those citizens must - MUST - for their own safety and the safety of their loved ones - take it upon themselves to do so. Certainly not the best solution but under the circumstances what choice do they have?
