Saint Sarah [Newsweek's Full Bore Palin Attack]
Newsweek ^ | June 11, 2010 | Lisa Miller

Saint Sarah To white evangelical women, Sarah Palin is a modern-day prophet, preaching God, flag, and family—while remaking the religious right in her own image.

Another memoirist might prefer to keep such matters private, but Sarah Palin is not another memoirist. In Going Rogue: An American Life, Palin describes, perhaps for the first time in the history of political autobiography, a furtive trip to an out-of-state drugstore to obtain a do-it-yourself pregnancy test. This was in the fall of 2007, when the 43-year-old mother of four was governor of Alaska and began to notice “some peculiar yet familiar physical symptoms, like the smell of cigarettes making me feel more nauseated than usual.” So, while on business in New Orleans—at a time and in a place where her anonymity was still possible—Palin procured the kit. In the privacy of her hotel room, she “followed the instructions on the...box. Slowly a pink image materialized on the stick.

Note the Democrat tactics by those who dismiss complaints about Democrat activity in our ranks.

There’s a reason why these folks go vile. It’s a way of life.

Absolutely chilling... I’m so damned tired of ‘damaged republicans’ or downright ‘democrat shills’.

Count me in. Duncan Hunter saw trade, immigration, military, fiscal and other matters clearly early on. He’d been solid for a long time.

He hasn’t had to run back to the right every time he comes up for re-election. No wonder the McCain/Palin wing of the party has never heard of him.

McCain/Palin wing of the party....

uhhh, those are 2 opposite ends of the party. Your attempt to conflate opposing viewpoints is quite transparent.

Oh please, doofyone - Sarah did 2 stops one weekend to repay her "debt" to Juan and then walked away.

No doubt your 1% Hunter is moving up in the polls? Is it 1.25% now?

LOL - what a libtard! What a maroon!

Are you aware that Sarah helped create adds that have been running in Arizona for months now? It wasn’t one campaign stop, and then out. She’s in for the long haul.

Are you out of your friggin mind????

Palin did a fundraiser, and 4 appearances here, and then 3 more on Fox News Network.

She has run radio ads upwards of 500 times here in the past 3 months.24/7

AM 790 Tucson

AM 550 Phoenix

Take your lies to another website! You Palinistas are worse than liberals. Can’t find the truth.

It’s statements like the one you quoted, that cause me to understand just how out of control some Palin supporters are. <<<

LOL..It's statements like yours that lead me to believe you're still struggling with reading comprehension...huh?

Amazing how a little “hate” can cause people to insert foot in mouth...

BTW..how do those those wet ankles taste?...same as always?

Note to 'newfreep', don't post obvious falsehoods when there is a FReeper on the ground in Arizona that actually KNOWS firsthand what is going on, you just end up looking silly at best, a KoolAid drinking Sarah groupie at the worst.

You know, I don’t mind being shown that I was wrong. I’m not perfect and I do misunderstand a post once in a while. There were quoted remarks in the post I responded to, and I didn’t realize it was part of the article and not a Palin supporter’s comments. When corrected, I acknowledged the error graciously and apologized.

Where is the gracious acceptance of that apology?

You folks are too cute by half. You still don’t have a clue how poorly you come off when dealing with others. And guess who this reflects on ultimately.

I handled my mistake like an adult. You have handled the response like a child. Do you think it represents Palin well to have child-like rude people mouthing off on her behalf on internet forums?

Palin has one degree of separation with this, and two degrees of separation from the people McCain likes to cozy up to.

Duncan Hunter has forgotten more about national defense and military issues than most people could ever hope to know. He arrived in Washington in 1980 with the original Reagan Landslide, and if voters in the primary season of 2008 had the sense God gave them, they would have recognized that Hunter would have been the finest President since Reagan, but they were simply too stupid to understand it, and now the more infantile of the Palin groupies sneer about Hunter and make jokes about a man they're not good enough to shine the shoes of.

When you have to tell bare-faced lies to justify your worship of a political candidate, maybe.....just maybe, the political candidate is not worth voting for ;-)
