Don't politicians ever learn? Just hours after winning California's GOP Senate nomination, Carly Fiorina was unknowingly captured on a live microphone trashing her Democratic rival Barbara Boxer's hair. "God, what is that hair?" the former Hewlett Packard chief said, quoting a friend. "Sooo yesterday,"

Close-cropped salt’n’pepper is hot!

Well, yes, on a man.
Hmm ... I guess the gentleman friends who have been quite complimentary of my own close-cut ‘do will just have to do.
Besides I shouldn't channel surf anywhere near her show, hey?? But, so help me,those 'make over' shows are so utterly insipid, particularly with the audience cheering as thought Da Vinci has suddenly materialized or something, and instead it's just some overweight broad in tight clothing cheaply made in China with an ugly hairdo.
“And just who in the World isnt self-serving?”
Ok, you need it spelled out literally. Self serving at the expense of properly doing the job she was hired to do.
Better?
Her comment sounds right to me.
Her comment sounds right to me.
You know NOTHING about how she did her job, but considering that both AT&T and HP seem to be doing pretty well, you obviously don't know much about anything.
I did not know that. Still she should not be talking about someone else hair, considering her own. It at least puts a different and more compassionate perspective on why she has her hair like that.
I actually like her hair better as it was growing back. It was stylish....and suited her. Some women can’t get away with really short hair, but she has the bone structure for it.
And these freaks sit there commenting about each others hair and fashion?
Gezzzz
Somebody may have already pointed this out, but Fiorina's hair is like that due to chemotherapy for breast cancer...
“You’re awfully judgmental for someone who supports the Browns! “
And you’re so sensitive about your support of Fiorina, you resort to personal attacks?
“You know NOTHING about how she did her job, but considering that both AT&T and HP seem to be doing pretty well, you obviously don’t know much about anything.”
You can’t possibly know what I do or don’t know. You don’t know me, that’s a ridiculous statement to make given what you know of me.
I work in technology and have for a LONG time. I know that Fiorina ran Lucent into the ground, but not sure of many of the details. I paid closer attention to what she did at HP since I used quite a bit of HP product, and I was interested. HP very nearly didn’t survive Fiorina. The backstory is she was mean spirited and vindictive when things started coming apart. When Fiorina was named to head HP, you couldn’t buy better products than HP. They were pricey, but you knew you’d get the best, and the best of service. When she was booted, with a nice golden parachute, HP was on the ropes, they made crap, and customer service in terms of call centers and driver availabity and quality was terrible.
I’d dig up the old articles on this, but I’ll leave that to you as homework. If you choose not to look them up, it’s ok, I’m pretty sure Boxer’s campaign staff will get them out.
I finished chemo a little over 12 mnths ago and my hair is just now starting to look good. It really does seem to take forever.
Her hair looks good imo.
The woman had cancer and lost her hair to chemo.
Why the slap at Hannity? Carly just showed her RINO colors.
Big deal Fiorina makes some remarks about Boxer.....let’s not forget the General, while testifying before her committee referred her as m’ame or madam and rebuked him and told him she was a Senator. The fact is she couldn’t shine the soldier’s shoes.
And I don't need to "look" anything up, I followed it while it was going on and I know she was trying to expand the companies thru mergers and drag them into the next century where they might have viability. I know there was incredible resistance and resentment, which is typical when someone comes in and shakes things up. And I know they survived because of what she did.
That you keep using the BS phrase that she "ran the companies into the ground", proves you know nothing about her or her ability.
Actually, Fiorina was paraphrasing someone else when she said, ‘God, what is that hair?’ The media was quick to miss the distinction.
