'The BBC has announced that Torchwood is to return for a fourth series.
The sci-fi drama, which is a spinoff to Doctor Who, will air a ten-part run following an international partnership between the corporation and US premium network Starz Entertainment.
Russell T Davies will continue to write the series. It has also been revealed that plots are to go beyond Cardiff to locations worldwide.'

If they get rid of the soap opera factor, then woo hoo.
If it’s anything like Children of Earth, bring it on I say...
That was excellent.
Tried to watch a few of the regular episodes. Wasn’t quite my cup of tea I guess.
fyi
It wasn’t a bad show but I didn’t like all the pro-homosexual content.
Will Captain Jack still be leading the crew????
Did ya see this?
get rid of the homosexuals and then bring it back.
it is a homosexual sci fi wanabe.
I don't have Starz so it'll probably be a wait before BBC America gets them, like with the first series.
Alright, more gays in space.
Sad when I can’t watch a sci-fi program with my kids because all the guys are shacking up together and all the girls are as well.
Apparently him and “Gwen” are coming back.
I wonder if this means you won’t be able to watch it on the internet, or see it on BBC America.
I’m guessing Starz wants to force people to buy their premium service here in America to watch.
There’s also an American version of Torchwood that’s supposed to be coming out. I wonder if this circumvents that?
While I understand your situation, having had small children at one time, Torchwood is not geared toward children anyway. It is an adult show.
COE seemed to be some other story that they tried to shoehorn the Torchwood characters into.
I kind of like the idea of them traveling around earth instead of staying in Cardiff
This is the new Torchwood, and it will be set partly in America. The first question asked is about U.S. and International based story lines.

The good thing about it being on Starz is that we will be seeing 60 minute episodes I think.
The show isnt for kids!.
Its an ADULT spin off from Dr Who. Here its shown post watershed on BBC, at 10pm usually.
