It’s a shame that a coach can screw so many people and escape without paying a penalty. Everybody thought Pete Carroll was such a stand up guy. Yeah, about as stand up as Nick Saban.

This is a lesson to college administrators, police your sports programs, or you may find yourself in this situation.

I think you’re being terribly naive if you think USC was “screwed” in any way by their former coach. I can almost guarantee you that in every NCAA case like this, the entire school administration — along with many of its alumni — is complicit in whatever wrongdoing brought on the sanctions.

I don't think Pete or the team had anything to do with the crazy deal regarding a homeowner giving or renting a nice home to the Bush family.
Expecting a school to be responsible for all in life surrounding the players or their parents when they had nothing to do with it is crazy.
The guy who sued the Bush family and who made the stink about the house had nothing to do with the school or team or some alumni would have paid them off long before a suit was file IMO.

It's kind of like the apartment owner of a 30 unit building being found responsible for the parents of one of their tenants who may have broke a law though the apartment owner never had anything to do with it.

I would take this to the real court if I were USC.
I think a LOT of this is political.

Well...At least Nick Saban never got a program put on probation like Pete Carroll, Calipari, and a host of others.
