The Alien in the White House
The Wall Street Journal ^ | 06-09-10 | DOROTHY RABINOWITZ

The distance between the president and the people is beginning to be revealed.

The deepening notes of disenchantment with Barack Obama now issuing from commentators across the political spectrum were predictable. So, too, were the charges from some of the president's earliest enthusiasts about his failure to reflect a powerful sense of urgency about the oil spill.

There should have been nothing puzzling about his response to anyone who has paid even modest critical attention to Mr. Obama's pronouncements. For it was clear from the first that this president—single-minded, ever-visible, confident in his program for a reformed America saved from darkness by his arrival—was wanting in certain qualities citizens have until now taken for granted in their presidents. Namely, a tone and presence that said: This is the Americans' leader, a man of them, for them, the nation's voice and champion. Mr. Obama wasn't lacking in concern about the oil spill. What he lacked was that voice—and for good reason.

Those qualities to be expected in a president were never about rhetoric; Mr. Obama had proved himself a dab hand at that on the campaign trail. They were a matter of identification with the nation and to all that binds its people together in pride and allegiance. These are feelings held deep in American hearts, unvoiced mostly, but unmistakably there and not only on the Fourth of July.

One of his first reforms was to rid the White House of the bust of Winston Churchill—a gift from Tony Blair—by packing it back off to 10 Downing Street.

Jaw-dropping. I can't even get past this.

I just saw the Malzberg UTube video about the bc. Malzberg says he is not saying Obama in not an American citizen. All he says is that he wants to see not only the bc, but all the Obama records made public. Which technically does not make Malzberg a birther. I want to see all of Obama’s records too including the bc. But I’m not a birther. Just curious.

If you have the facts on your side, why can’t you convince any of the big names in conservatism that Obama is a foreigner?

The birth-certificate is what these guys call a third rail issue. The murder of Vincent Foster was another. Rush did talk about Foster for a month or so beginning six months after Foster was killed coincident with the publication of Chris Ruddy's first article in the NY Post about the circumstances of Foster's death. (I was the first caller he took that day about Foster.) Savage attacks on Limbaugh began when he repeated a rumor about Foster that supposedly came from Democrat Senator Moynihan's office, and he obviously decided to stop talking about Foster. Chris Ruddy was forced to leave his job at the Post. (Maybe the Post didn't want to lose its WH accreditation?) I've spoken to Hannity face to face about Foster and he told me it "wasn't a career enhancing move to talk about it on the radio." I've spoken to the editor of one of the biggest US dailies, also face to face. His last words to me about Foster were, "We all know what happened."

And by now it should be clear to all that Obama is hiding something regarding his birth. Have a drink with a big shot editor sometime and ask him about it.

There is far more evidence showing that he was born in Hawaii...

Your journey with regards to this issue is solely based upon "faith" that Barack was born in Hawaii. You have faith in peoples "verbal" and non-legal "evidence." There is only one "legal" document that provides the evidence admissible in a court of law to BHO's birth place. He refuses to release it. Hussein has no respect to honor the wishes of those American's who value the constitution. When Hussein authorizes the state of Hawaii to release his birth record I will be happy to make a judgement as to his actual Natural Born Status - not until.

Well....Since it is all so straight forward, why doesn't Obama just release the long form birth certificate?

Why is Obama wasting tax dollars and U.S. attorney time by sending them all over the country to block the release of these very common documents that we ordinary Americans routinely provide for many reasons?

Remember...These U.S. attorneys should be out getting the bad guys who want to blow us up! Why would he misuse them to prevent the release of common information?

Except for the gratuitous slap against birthers, this was a great article from a paper with a huge national distribution. She nails Zero on his, dare we say, hatred of America, and his desire to remake her in his radical image:

"Far greater strangeness has since flowed steadily from Washington. The president's appointees, transmitters of policy, go forth with singular passion week after week, delivering the latest inversion of reality. Their work is not easy, focused as it is on a current prime preoccupation of this White House—that is, finding ways to avoid any public mention of the indisputable Islamist identity of the enemy at war with us. No small trick that, but their efforts go forward in public spectacles matchless in their absurdity—unnerving in what they confirm about our current guardians of law and national security. [snip]

It is what has caused this president and his counterterrorist brain trust to deem it acceptable to insult Americans with nonsensical evasions concerning the enemy we face. It is this focus that caused Mr. Holder to insist on holding the trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in lower Manhattan, despite the rage this decision induced in New Yorkers, and later to insist if not there, then elsewhere in New York. This was all to be a dazzling exhibition for that world community—proof of Mr. Obama's moral reclamation program and that America had been delivered from the darkness of the Bush years."

Dorothy Rabinowitz.

I love it when women journalists on the Right hit the nail on the head.

She makes it a point to dis anyone questioning Bam Bam’s unproven Natural Born claims and his hiding of all his historic records.

I stopped reading there. Can’t tolerate “smart conservatives” who lie in pretending there is no problem with a president hiding his entire history from the public like no other president has ever done. She is one of the politically correct kooks who puts “stupid” in the Republican Party while pretending to be smart. I am tired of the lies.

I disagree.

I didn’t agree with the phrase “demented . . .” whatever that she used referring to birthers apparently.

However, if you stopped reading there you deprived yourself of some insightful observations on the disconnect that’s growing between Obama and the mainstream, just because she doesn’t agree with everything everyone on the Right says. Who does agree with the entire Right wing? No one I can think of.

Not a good strategy. Not everyone on the Right is going to embrace everything you believe in. But they can still be allies.

By the way, I don’t think that birthers are necessarily incorrect.

But if you spend all your time and energy concerned with his birth certificate and that strategy doesn’t work, what then? It’s not really the best strategy to stop Obama’s agenda, because you are betting everything on one role of the dice, all judgments aside on whether or not its true.

I will tell you what happens if we fail to make Presidents make available all their historic records:

We will end up with Castro kinda relatives running for President and totally serving foreign interests. We will permit “open Presidential borders” and hidden criminal backgrounds on our presidents. We could get a drug lord from Mexico and in the name of political correctness/race, we could end up with it as President of the US. We are begging for absolute corruption with this p.c. game.

We have to make it taboo for Presidental candidates to hide their history. McCain really screwed us over on this - like he has done with open borders and if P.C. NWO journalists are on board with this kind of fraud, I do not respect them.

“Who TF is this guy “?

From an old hit by the Platters:

Oh yes, I’m the great pretender
Pretending that I’m doing well
My need is such; I pretend too much
I’m lonely but no one can tell.

Oh yes, I’m the great pretender
A drift in a world of my own
I play the game; but to my real shame
You’ve let me to dream all alone.

Maybe he just wants to drive you people crazy. My advice is to quit the Obama-is-an-alien business and get down to combating his various Marxist programs. The fact is: NOBODY!!! is going to do anything about his records. We can defeat the Obamatons in elections this year and get the Big Marxist out of office in 2012. But getting him thrown out of office because because he’s an “alien” or a “traitor” just isn’t going to happen.

If all the important people “know” that Obama is an alien, don’t you think a few of them would come out and say so? I don’t know any big shot editors (in fact, I don’t know any editors period), but what is it they’re supposed to know? Clinton had Foster killed? Again, where’s the evidence? Don’t you think that if it was common knowledge among the nation’s collective numbers of conservatives that Clinton had Foster killer or Obama is an alien, more than a few would have come out with it? Do you honestly think Rush Limbaugh can be silenced?

Do you honestly think Rush Limbaugh can be silenced?

He was. You just don't know, apparently.

[BTW, I used to be a pretty regular caller. James Golden (Bo Snerdley) certainly was well aware of my interest in the Foster case and he used to warn me not to bring Foster up when I was calling about some other issue. And knowing the roll of the caller and liking that he almost always took my calls, of course I wouldn't bring it up. Another thing Rush would never talk about was TWA 800. I guess maybe he thought none of his listeners was interested, huh?]

I'm not going to rehash the Foster thing now. If you really are interested you could do worse than to start with this old thread I started: The Vincent Foster Op-ed Contest (Redux) . I might note that when Foster was killed Rush was out of the country being given a tour of Israel. Some years later I met the guy probably most responsible for initiating that trip. This is someone who has the ear of every President. He was giving a talk where he mentioned the value of showing prominent people around Israel to counter the notions they might have if they just read about it. He specifically mentioned taking Rush there in 1994. After the talk I had the opportunity to speak with this guy and pointed out to him that he actually took Rush there in 1993. Of course, he quickly asked how I knew this and I told him, that Rush was on that trip when Foster was murdered. And then we briefly chatted about Foster. He knew too.
