SNIPPET: “Turkish police conducting raids in four different provinces detained 17 people for suspected links to the al-Qaeda terrorist network, Anatolia news agency reported Wednesday.
The operation began Tuesday in the Central Anatolian province of Konya and was continued in three other provinces, the agency said.”
