Well said! I find too many people are redirecting their anger and frustation at the good guys these days. We need to stay united.

I have 15 breaking news posts on my sidebar, and they span 2 days. If you are concerned about missing something, then spend some more time perusing Latest Articles instead of Latest Comments. If seeing the latest comments is your thing, check out Twitter.

It doesn’t bother me if people duplicate. I could care less. Sometimes I miss one and catch another. I wish there was away they could just merge them.

I agree. Besides, not all of us can peruse FR at the same time. And posting moves so rapidly around here that a post made at 6 AM will have dropped off the first or 2nd page by 10 AM.
I have found, however, that when somebody cracks down on a 2nd posting, you still can click through to read the article. If you are really interested in reading the comments, or making a comment, click on the link given for thel original posting. But, we should all be kind to 2nd, or 3rd, posters of an article. If we don’t live on the East Coast, that’s often the only time some of us see the post (2nd, or 3rd posting).

That’s why you bump threads instead of re-posting them. Re-posting them means you lose the content inside the existing thread.
