In case you were tempted to buy the faux Washington outrage at BP and its gulf oil spill in recent days, here's a story that reveals a little-known corporate political connection and the quiet way the inner political circles intersect, protect and care for one another in the nation's capital. And Chicago. We already knew that BP and its folks were significant contributors to the record $750-million war chest of Barack Obama's 2007-08 campaign. Now, we learn the details of a connection of Rahm Emanuel, the Chicago mayoral wannabe, current Obama chief of staff, ex-representative, ex-Clinton money man and ex-Windy City political machine go-fer. Shortly after Obama's happy inaugural, eyebrows rose slightly upon word that, as a House member, Emanuel had lived the last five years rent-free in a D.C. apartment of Democratic colleague Rep. Rosa DeLauro of Connecticut and her husband, Stanley Greenberg.

That’s a man, baby!
Didn’t she play the Jeffersons’ male British neighbor?
At least in that one his wet pants are not WHITE. Man does that Rahm like to show off his jewels or WHAT.

Have you sent this to Glenn Beck or Rush?
Wow! This is amazing!
I totally agree with you about Monsanto, The most EVIL Corporation in America!
Food Inc. should be required viewing by all Americans.
Zero appears to be cozy with Monsanto as well, these CEO’s should be imprisoned.
Is he one of the “rich” that Hillary Clinton claims is not paying their “fair share” of taxes??? Does he deduct his chonies for $4 a piece like Hillary did with Bill’s?? The rich are first in line in knowledge of loopholes and deductions to reduce their tax liability. Foundations...tax free lving.

Did Rahm and his sugar daddy attend the same ballerina school or somethin?
I don’t think his house is off the tax rolls. If you give me the address I can tell you for certain.
Even the Catholic church doesn’t exempt its non-church property.
There was an article posted in the past few days that said that he rushed in to pay lapsed property taxes of over $7000 on his Chicago home that ehe had “forgotten” to pay. The article went on to say that at one time he had declared that his home was the “offices” of his Foundation. His foundation had 2 members (officers) — Rahm and his wife and 2 donors — Rahm and his wife. There had been no distributions from the Foundation — i.e. a personal savings account. As the address of the Foundation (according to the article) the house had been removed from the tax rolls. I’m sorry that I do not have a link, but I read it here.
I’m just not sure of the time frame. This man made $$millions$$ after he left the White House staff under Clinton as a board member of one of the big financial orgs — Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, etc. He certainly should be able to pay his property tax like the rest of us.
The rich get richer by not paying their taxes, it seems.
Rahm knows too much...The job he got after working for the Clintons that brought in millions for very little work, was in my opinion a payoff to keep quiet if not out right blackmail. The fact that Clinton stepped in and took the “blame” for the Sustak fiasco is more evidence that Rahm E has something on the Clintons.
That being said what Rahm knows Obama knows.....and can use.
Several article on it on the Chicago Crime thread. About post 100 or so,but they are scattered though out..
