BP's chief executive wouldn't have a job if President Barack Obama were in charge of the oil company, the president said Tuesday.

Yet Janet Napolitano and Ken Salazar still have jobs. Yeah, right.

(Link to Rasmussen article) Obama has calculated that he can impress his base supporters by talking tough but doing essentially nothing. His supporters are too illiterate or stupid to connect the dots, much less see the world as it really is.

Fail? Obama is really good at what people often call "falling upwards".

Obama has figured out that he can impress his supporters by talking tough and doing nothing. His supporters are to illiterate or stupid to connect the dots, much less see the world as it really is.

...and I suppose if he was an new ensign on a submarine he’d become an impressive wash-out assuming he could get that far. Of course, remember the last Democrat president who worked on a nuke sub.

If he were head of BP, he would have fired the CEO? That would mean he would have fired himself. Really stupid statement.

Somebody needs to explain to our constitutional scholar: It's not his job to "kick ass." or fire CEO's, that's for the judicial branch. It's his job to fix this mess and do what he can to soften the repercussions on our economy.

This, and the previous "kick ass" remark reveal his ineptitude and incompetence; he's incapable doing anything more than designating a culprit or scapegoat.

People may not understand this consciously, but they're nurturing a growing contempt for him. The one's that trusted him will despise most, now that he's destroyed their illusions. 'bam has crapped his nest and is becoming a laughingstock.

www.rnw.nl/english/article/dutch-oil-spill-response-team-standby-us-oil-disaster.

From the article..

....The Americans don’t have spill response vessels with skimmers because their environment regulations do not allow it. With the Dutch method seawater is sucked up with the oil by the skimmer. The oil is stored in the tanker and the superfluous water is pumped overboard. But the water does contain some oil residue, and that is too much according to US environment regulations.[media:factfile1]...

If I was in charge those regulations would be ignored.

The Dutch are waiting for the 'go ahead'.

What is stopping him? He fired GM’s CEO.

BP = British Petroleum

I know they have their HQ here, but are based in Britain.

“BP’s chief executive wouldn’t have a job if President Barack Obama were in charge of the oil company, the president said Tuesday.”

Huh? If Obama WERE in charge of the Oil Company, the disaster would have happened on HIS watch ... so would he have fired himself?

zero sounds like an angry spoiled child. He may want the government to takeover all oil companies but who would want to work for such an a**hole? He acts like a two bit dictator that nationalizes the oil companies only to find that productivity is reduced by 50% (like Chavez).
So, it is not all at surprising that zero refuses to talk with oil executives. There is intense mutual disrespect between the oil executives and zero and this to the detriment of the nation. The deterioration of this relationship and the exacerbation of the ecological crisis can primarily be blamed on our knavish president.

I read it on the Internet, so it must be true. Wasn’t it Glen Beck who made that assertion originally?
