With a fawning press and a villain like BP, he will ride this to some kind of PR victory all the while the gulf coast will suffer. Reminds me of the scene from Enemy at the Gates where Bob Hoskins as Kruschev speaks in front of a bunch of Commisars after handing a pistol to a lower officer whose battle plan failed. We will be in that sort of situation where Obama is Stalin and he has a group of flunkies who call the shots with the military brass. They’ll offer bottles of vodka and a pistol to failed Generals in lieu of what Obama “might” do to them.
I pray our country wakes up soon, or we may be smothered in our cribs.
