I cant stop asking myself how did Elton John, gay pop icon, ended up performing at at Rush Limbaughs wedding.
Anyway, the act took place in Palm Florida on Saturday night. The guests included celebrities such as Fred Thompson, Sean Hannity, Bush adviser Karl Rove, golfer Tom Watson and Rudolph Giuliani. Did i forget to mention it was a 400 guests wedding?
Limbaugh and Rogers met six years ago at a charity golf tournament. There is a 20 years difference between the two but that doesnt seem to be a problem for them. Kathryn Rogers said she is sometimes not able to relate to the average person my age.
Im guessing Elton John couldnt help it and went for the million bucks. That is the reported $1 million payday for Elton John. But still , having a gay guy performing at your wedding is a bit ..awkward.

As I said last night.. “The wife-to-be must want elton to play.” It’s the only logical reason.

Elton and his entourage will not be able to say anything negative about the event. No,I’m not one trying to win over the left wing MSM or Hollyweird or other, but it won’t hurt.

In all the years I’ve been listening to his show, I’ve never heard any Elton John ‘bumper’ music. So, I suspect that Sir Elton is not among Rush’s faves.

There are plenty of STRAIGHT MEN, DRUG FREE and CONSERVATIVE MEN available to do what Elton John did. ...who don't demand a $1 million performance fee.
To: Grunthor
Well said. I agree with you entirely. For example, I don't care how gay Rob Halford is, Judas Priest rocks.
I wouldn't care if my mechanic were gay either. I have worked with and know enough gay people that I know they are as capable and ethical as straight people. I buy goods and services, not their lifestyle, so who cares?

Ive never heard any Elton John bumper music. Or "bumper" music either. Not exactly sure what a "bumber" is.

Rush scores againThis was brilliant. First, he generates much publicity. Then he shows he is not the homophobic knuckle scrapper the left would like to believe. More people will tune in just to hear him talk about the wedding and Sir Elton. The publicity and increased audience will pay for the wedding, including Elton's fee.
Just brilliant. Congratulations Rush.

I disagree. By paying a well known out-of-the-closet homosexual Rush shows that he sees nothing wrong that perversion.

He has done several things lately but this is my number one....He had a flaming liberal sing and paid him one million
dollars
. That guy has bashed everything I hold sacred and will continue to spread hatred for Rush and all we conservatives. If he is marring a gal that has to have that guy sing,I question her. There is no loyalty any more. I doubt Rush made any of that million through his liberal fans. I am a senior citizen . There are much I could write but am just tired now. Conservative republicans? Can they give up anything for the cause? For instance...The Jonas Brothers profess to be Christians..Obamas out to take all of Jesus out of our country but there they were doing a concert for him and all the hate America crowd. I hope you can understand what I am saying?

If we limit our entertainment to only those who agree with us philosophically, we might as well be Amish.LOL -- true.
One can only stomach so much country music.

Is Rush gripping her by the diamond?

I wouldn't care if my mechanic were gay either. Same here, however - said mechanic would have to be a woman.
