AN Abu Dhabi tower has been recognised as the "furthest-leaning man-made tower" in the world by Guinness World Records.

The 160-metre Capital Gate tower, developed by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Company, leans at 18 degrees - over four times the angle of Italy's famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, Khaleej Times reported.

ADNEC said the tower earned the record following an evaluation by Guinness World Records that began in January, the month the tower's exterior was completed, Gulf News reported

I remember the charming experience of visiting the small town of Pisa in the Italian Countryside, and slowing meandering up the Tower of Pisa on a late sunny afternoon, a few tourists milling quietly about, awed by the centuries old pillars. Then experiencing the gorgeous surprise of the never-mentioned Pisa cathedral and baptistry right next door. Unique renaissance beauty incomparable to any other buildings on earth. No, sorry, a shiny high-tech Arab monstrosity most definitely does not beat Pisa. And never will.

I would have 2 new towers up ASAP if it were up to me.

The current project smells like NY’s answer to the big dig to me.

I heard Kagan is proposing marriage to that building.

It wants her to convent to Islam and wear a burqa.
