Who knows.

These are considered "Republicans" in Maine.

By the way, had Olympia Snowe cast a "No" vote in Committee, ObamaCare never would have even made it to the Senate floor for a vote. But, she voted "Yes" to advance the confiscation of our health insurance.

After she did that, she weaseled out of it, and voted "No" on the bill on the floor so she could say she opposed it.

Nice, huh?

Most conservatives up here aren’t fond of the sisters. Most of the liberals up here just want to be left alone and a lot of them are waking up to the fact that big government chokes them to death. You don’t have a lot of conservatives up here to fight what the left puts out there as alternatives.

Snowe and Collins are often swing votes in the Senate and occasionally stray from Republican Party lines

They ALWAYS stray when there is a tight vote for the Dems, the rest is just for show.

The liberals hope not.
Maine is , most likely, a lost cause. Too bad, the people are nice but just plain dumb....

Well, to be fair, the Bangor Daily News is considered to be a "newspaper" here, too. The sloth-like Maine Republican party would give Republicans everywhere a bad name if it weren't completely ineffectual.

Republican Gubernatorial candidate, Les Otten (formerly CEO of American Skiing, part owner of the Boston Red Sox, and generally a no bull$h!t king of guy)asks the question on one of his campaign mailers:

“Are you TEA’d off yet?”

Why should I freep this poll? I know nothing about Maine politics.

If the poll question were,”do you want the Tea Party (amorphous thing that it is) to persuade the Maine electorate to shift to the right?” then freeping might make sense.

THANK YOU. This woman is the "mother" of Socialized Medicine in the USA. AND SHOULD BE REMEMBERED AS SUCH. Without her SINGULAR VOTE on the committee, it would never have happened. I "blame" a lot of people for this thing, but if I could "pin the tail on the donkey" for Socialized Medicine, it would be pinned on her! Olympia Snow CAUSED Socialized Medicine and with it the pending destruction of the USA as we have known it.

I called it out on Oct 14, 2009

Otten is currently running TV ads talking about how his dad knew Hitler, or something like that.

Otten has so much money, and so little to say that he has to run tv ads discussing Hitler and a different ad complaining about ads that no one saw.

LePage is the true conservative, the tea party candidate. LePage got most of the tea party endorsements.
