Certainly. They want to control every aspect of every America not in the power elite. They want to play their experimental social experiments. They treat the underlings (poor, unions, illegals) like a house full of adopted cats, providing food and shelter and toys in exchange for subservient dependence and an occasional rub on the leg. They want to place us all under their communist authoritative control to insure we all place nice together, and this time it will "work" because it has "never been done right before".

Under a Marxist regime, it is not enough for them to have
most of the MSM in broadcast and print.
They must have it ALL.
By this time next year, the USA will no longer exist as the country that I grew up in.

If this was logical, then:

(1) We ought to charge folks every time that they quote Steinbeck or Hemingway, and redistribute that money to the original author’s family.

(2) We ought to charge folks whenever they appear on the air and say “BP”, or “Chrysler”, or “Toyota”, and hand that money to the mentioned company.

(3) We ought to charge senators and congressmen when they appear on any nationally syndicated show and recover part of the money for the national budget.

Actually... I do..

What many miss...and fail to appreciate...is that a good deal of the Federal Power Grab..merely reflects the expanding “needs” of the Federal bureaucracy. Every 20 years (think immigration reform” 1986...and the failed run they had at it in 2006; instead they “got healthcare” this year) a host of GS-15’s tries to break into the SES pay grade. This requires a substantial expansion of their agency’s scope and power to justify another cadre of administrative leadership. “Immigration Reform” is the fastest route to a quantum increase in population and concurrent administrative opportunity for the Feds. The FTC bureaucrats are running out of activities to justify their continued existence and advancement. This is THE primary engine driving Federal Expansion...and needs We the People to implement a governor on it.

The real game is DC versus Flyover Country. It does’nt come to an end until all in Flyover Country finally get it. IMHO, they are just starting to wake up

In Maine on Tues, we Vote to Reject 102 New Taxes & against expansion of the sales tax; as well as pick candidates from the pack to run for governor. Democratic controlled state for over 30 years [gutting the economy] may be about to change. Bill Clinton has already made an appearance to stand behind Democrat Libby Mitchell (has green sign [background] with "white star" in the middle) who has been part of the problem for decades. Yard sales and flea markets have become a BIG industry to enable Mainers to stay afloat. The Washington Dems must worried to be here this early. Repub candidates are very strong. Les Otten and Le Page the ones to watch.

The FTC can also be defunded to the point where it lacks the credibility of Granny's Sunday afternoon crochet circle.

Obama wants to turn the US into a People’s Socialist Republic that resembles East Germany.

Its the cool thing to be anti-Obama now. I am totally awed when I hear of people right out of the blue suggesting small examples of protest and even forms of sabotage in any way no matter how small that would be viewed as a message with their displeasure of Obama, his goals, his policies.

A lot more anti-liberal bumper stickers showing up in my area.
And I even saw an “Impeach Obama!” graffiti on a railcar going by.

I think the Sleeping Giant is starting to awake, too many people that thought they had a secure deal with Obamas planning are getting shortchanged, and their loyalty came with a price tag.

Everybody that can write clearly, and can photograph and/or film events is a journalist through the eyes of the first amendment of the Constitution of the United States.

What the FTC wants is to control the information, much like Hugo Chavez has control of the information in Venezuela. It's about tyranny and nothing else.
