Although he had already been presented before the media, the National Police made Dutch citizen Joran van der Sloot march past (again) when the Interior Minister, Octavio Salazar, held a press conference. In an eventful presentation, and in the company of the Chief of the Main Directorate of the Police, Miguel Noble, Salazar avoided giving details of the investigation.
The unusual event was crowned when the presumed murderer of Stephany Flores was shown before journalists for the third time, which generated disorder in the Interior Department headquarters.
The police minister and authorities refused to respond to the questions that the journalists tried to ask them.

Another story, but the video is quite a show.
Wow-—Joran did not look happy.
Those big burly latino cops look like they mean business.
Unlike those liberal wimps that let Joran slide when Natalee went missing.
He still appears to have an arrogant and defiant attitude. I expect after a month or so in Peruvian prison he’s finally going to lose that look.
Was he wearing a flak jacket?
Joran is learning that he isn’t king of the hill anymore, too bad his daddy never taught him!
There must be an upcoming election in Peru. I vote for the interior minister. I only wish that I could understand Spanish better.
He looks scared, finally.
LOL he’s screwed.
It looks like a Hollywood production.
Is this arguable in court that his right to a fair trial has been impaired, or don’t they have that concern in Peru?
Yes, he was——and the crowd was shouting at him in Espanol.
*bookmark*
He’ll get some tough love in prison.
“Is this arguable in court that his right to a fair trial has been impaired”
I had that feeling a little too.
The Minister goes on and on about thanking Chile and Interpol. I read elsewhere Chile and Peru do not have great relations, so this expulsion was not as easy as it seems legally.
That is hilarious! They’re parading him around like a show poodle, and I don’t think he likes it.
Sure, right, they will, well, no, they will not, I can assure you there will a confession being forth coming.
Toby
He'll be the hit of the block.
No longer is Daddy around to protect him and obfuscate the investigation. Urine is finished.
Finally that jackass has lost his cocky smirk. He knows that Peru is not his daddy’s Aruba.
