Rep. Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio, called Wednesday on President Barack Obama "to call Israel to an accounting" for its attack Monday on a Turkish ship that was traveling in international waters laden with humanitarian goods for Gaza.
Israel's conduct "constitutes an act of belligerence against Turkey, which at one time Israel considered an important ally," the Ohio Democrat wrote. "It also undermines United States troops' efforts in Iraq, since your administration's efforts to achieve stability in the region and to withdraw troops from Iraq has depended upon Turkey's cooperation through use of its air bases."
He called for the United States to "begin to redefine its relationship" with Israel and for Israel to face diplomatic and financial consequences for the attack, which killed nine people.
"If our nation fails to act in any substantive way, the United States licenses the violence and we are complicit in it and our own citizens will be forced to pay the consequences," he wrote.

The media doesn’t get upset that Dennis Kookcinich is 63 and married to a 32 year old woman. He’s nearly twice her age, older than Rush, and married to a woman younger than Rush’s spouse.
Kucinich is a little troll who should stay under the bridge. Kucinich says the attack constitutes an act of belligerence agaisnst Turkey a one time ally.
In my opinion Turkey sending the boats to break the blockade constitutes an attack against israel , a one time ally.
Anyway if the attack constitutes anything against either country isnt that their business and not Kucinich’s?

Their journalists have desperately tried to salvage an anti-Israel story line out of this, I read some Turk papers, they are more objective than Kucinich and them. Here Kucinich tries to salvage “the Jews threaten our troops” line.
Such "aberrations" are excused and even expected of Liberals, and even RINOs (like McCain), but Conservatives are held to a different standard.
At least Rush and Dennis are going to marry or have married the ladies. How much younger than Billy Jeff was Monica? (answer he was 49 she was 22) Plus he was her management chain, which makes the fraternization highly improper, regardless of the relative ages.

Maybe he would be happy if Israel just mined the area, warn the ships and let them decide if they want to, either, go to Israel first or try and go through the mine field. It could be their choice.
